male ginger cat thrown from window of car on barrenjoey road newport as manhunt begins for abusers

A cat is lucky to be alive after it was viciously thrown out of the front window of a fast moving car as police hunt for his alleged abusers.

The male ginger tabby cat was found with critical injuries on Barrenjoey Road, Newport in Sydney’s Northern Beaches about 5.30am on Friday.

A passerby stopped to tend to the injured cat before taking it to Northside Emergency Veterinary Specialists where he underwent surgery.

The helpless cat remained under care for 24 hours and has surpassed the critical level and remains in a ‘more comfortable’ stable condition.

‘Yesterday he had a CT scan which showed that he didn’t have any internal injuries, but he does have really severe facial trauma,’ vet Heather Russell told Daily Telegraph.

‘We’ve had to put a feeding tube into his oesophagus so we can give his face and mouth the chance to heal. He’s very swollen and sore, he’ll be in with us for about a week I’d say.’

Ms Russell believes the car the cat was thrown from was driving at ’60/70km/h’ due to the serious injuries sustained.

‘He’s pretty badly injured to be honest, he’s had specialist surgery yesterday, he’s had the works, he’s been a lucky boy, but we expect he’ll have a good chance of recovery.’

The cat is believed to be a domestic pet and it remains unclear who his owner is.

Under the Crimes Act 1900, Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979, anyone found guilty of animal cruelty in NSW risks facing five years’ prison or a hefty fine of $22,000, or $110,000 for a corporation.

Anyone who was on Barrenjoey Road, near Cecil Road, between 5.25am and 5.40am on Friday and saw anything or have dashcam is urged to come forward.

Police are in particular looking for a dark-coloured 2000-2005 model sedan, with white markings on the back window.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Wearing a floral shirt and sunglasses, Tyson requested song Juicy, a clear favourite among his young family that also enjoyed a singalong to the lyrics.

While holding youngest child Prince Adonis Amaziah, 18 months, in his arms, boxer Tyson sung: ‘And if you don’t know, now you know, n****.’

Tyson, who’s the half brother of Love Island star Tommy Fury, 21, continued to sing the rest of the track, which included several repetitions of the offensive word.

In the clip filmed by his wife Paris, Tyson said: ‘You’ve got to teach these kids the taste of real music. Biggie and 2Pac all the way.’

His young children unknowingly repeated the racial slur that is said on more than one occasion on the track as they excitedly danced around the kitchen.

Surrounded by his children, Tyson, who starred this year in ITV series The Gypsy King, opened more of his cards and presents while enjoying his birthday morning.

Before listening to Juicy, the boxer’s family sang along to Tyson’s own Gypsy King themed song, which includes the lyrics: ‘Have you heard a better story than the one of Tyson Fury? Know he’s going to win. There’s only one Gypsy King.’

The sportsman’s cake featured all the things he loves including a Louis Vuitton belt, boxing gloves, cans of Diet Coke, a European passport, Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut and a photo of his family.

As well as new trainers and aftershave, Tyson was also gifted sportswear and another belt to add to his collection.

MailOnline has contacted the boxer for comment.

texas couple arrested after baby found dead in bucket of tar

Police in North Texas arrested a mother and father Saturday after discovering the body of their one-week-old baby boy hidden in a five-gallon bucket of tar.

Roland, 42, and Donna Grabowski, 41, are charged with child abandonment and tampering with evidence, with more charges anticipated as Collin County Sheriff’s Department investigate the death of their child.

Roland, a registered sex offender, and his wife are said to have told detectives ‘numerous lies’ when they attempted to check on the welfare of the baby.

The Princeton couple claim they awoke on the morning of July 29 to find baby Micah had died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in their bed.

Roland, 42, and Donna Grabowski, 41, are charged with child abandonment and tampering with evidence after the body of their one-week-old son Micah was found hidden in a bucket of tar at their home in Texas Saturday. The couple claims the baby died on July 29 of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome but they initially lied and claimed the baby was with friends

They then made the decision to hide his body and the baby’s death was not reported to police.

‘They took the child and wrapped him in a blanket and submerged him into a five gallon bucket of tar and put him in a shed behind the residence,’ Sheriff Jim Skinner told WFAA

‘I’ve been in this business over 30 years and I’ve seen a lot of crazy things but this is the first time I’ve found a dead infant in a bucket of tar…and hopefully the last.’

An autopsy is being conducted by the Collin County Medical Examiner to determine Micah’s cause of death.

The sheriff’s office were initially called to the Grabowskis’ home at 9100 block of Highridge Road on Saturday morning after reports of ‘suspicious circumstances’ and the potential death of a child that had not been reported to police.

They found the home empty but tracked the couple down in Dallas using cell phone records.

The couple initially refused to cooperate with authorities about the whereabouts of their baby.

According to the arrest warrant, the couple lied to sheriffs, claiming baby Micah was staying with friends.

Cell phone records show they made attempts to convince a friend to allow them to use their child as a ruse to trick cops into thinking that their own baby was safe.

‘I need you to say your baby is ours. Quick in and out. They just need to see,’ one of their texts read.

Donna Grabowski also attempted to lie about where the baby was born.

She told detectives that Micah was born at Medical Center of McKinney but the hospital had no record of the mother or any live birth.

‘There was an attempt to deceive us as to what had happened and the whereabouts of their child Micah,’ Sherroff Skinner said.

‘It’s tragic and its sad enough every time we have the death of an infant but its absolutely reprehensible when you lie and you deceive investigators as to the location of the body.’

After the initial police interview, the Grabaowskis were arrested and charged with Abandoning or Endangering a Child, a 2nd degree felony.

Following their arrest, they admitted their child died but they had not reported it to authorities.

A search warrant was secured for their home where the sad details of the baby’s whereabouts were finally revealed.

Investigators found the body of Micah Grabowski submerged in a bucket of tar in a shed behind the home.

Roland Grabowski has been charged with Abandoning or Endangering a Child, Abuse of Corpse and Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence and is being held on an $925,000 bond.

Donna Grabowski is charged with Abandoning or Endangering a Child, Abuse of Corpse, and two counts of Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence. Her bond was set at $1,075,000.

They are both being held in the Collin County Detention Facility.

The sheriff’s office say they anticipate further felony charges.

Roland Grabowski is listed on the Texas Sex Offenders registry after being convicted in 2008 of sexual assault of a child and aggravated sexual assault of a child.

His victims were 12 and 14 years old and the offenses took place in September 1995 and October 1996, according to Dallas News

He was sentenced to two years in prison and released in May 2009 but arrested again in June 2010 when he failed to register as a sex offender.

When he later registered at an address in Garland, police went to verify the address but found it was vacant.

He was sentenced to five years in prison in 2011 for these offenses.

Grabowski is considered high risk and must register for life.

man charged with sexual assault of two girls 15 at sex parties

Two teenage girls were allegedly molested by an 18-year-old man after attending organised sex parties.

Police allege the Thornlie man accused of the assaults is also responsible for helping organise the wild parties, which are held at short-term accommodation venues throughout Perth.

Child abuse squad detectives charged the 18-year-old on Thursday as part of an ongoing inquiry into pre-planned parties attended by more than 150 young people recently.

They allege he sexually assaulted the two 15-year-old girls between November 2019 and January 2020.

He was charged with two counts of sexually penetrating a child and one count of aggravated sexual penetration without consent.

The parties where the alleged abuse occurred are reportedly advertised on Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram.

Police are working to establish whether the events are created to specifically target young girls, and have urged other potential victims to come forward.

Acting Sergeant Chantal Killen held a press conference on Thursday where we confirmed the two victims were allegedly sexually assaulted at separate parties within the Cannington district.

Police will allege the teenager who was charged was part of ‘linked associates’ who organised the parties using fraudulent credit cards.

‘The victims have come forward… to feel empowered and to show that they don’t condone this behaviour,’ Acting Sgt Killen said.

‘The parties are advertised online and target … specific ethnic groups and attract a large number of young people,’ police said in a statement issued on Thursday.

Acting Sgt Killen appealed for young people of any ethnicity who felt they were a victim to come forward.

‘Although our investigations have uncovered that it is specific ethnic groups that are being targeted by these event organisers, this kind of behaviour isn’t limited to one specific ethnic group or culture,’ she said.

‘So… we would encourage any victims of sexual assault of any group to come forward and speak to police.’

The 18-year-old man is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrate’s Court on August 18.

Anyone with any information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
