She turned 36 on Wednesday.

And Alex Scott exuded glamour as she celebrated her birthday in style and headed for dinner in London on Thursday evening.

She exposed her black bra and taut midriff in the chic puff-sleeved top which she paired with leather-look trousers.

Alex added height to her frame with a pair of elegant black heels, and she injected a splash of colour with her scarlet YSL bag that draped over her shoulder.

The former football player framed her delicate facial features with a sleek ponytail, and opted for a classic make-up look. She completed her ensemble with silver hoop earrings.

Alex was all smiles as she celebrated her birthday, despite revealing that she has been accused of ‘ticking a box’ in her post-football career as a presenter.

She has been at the centre of much discussion – and relentless online trolling – amid rumours that she’s set to to replace Sue Barker on A Question Of Sport who was axed after 24 years.

Speaking to Women’s Health’s Going For Goal podcast, Alex said: ‘Every job that I’m linked to and every job that I’m going to be doing on screen for the next couple of years, I know the first thing people will be saying – a lot of it because it is already happening – it’s because I’m ticking a box.

‘I came back from playing professional in America in 2012 just before the London Olympics, I was already thinking about my career after sport then.

‘I went and I did a media degree in 2013 – I spent two years doing that for this same reason, so that no one could ever say that I was just ticking a box.’

Alex currently has a career in broadcasting, notably appearing as a pundit during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, having retired from football in 2017.

She went on to admit to Women’s Health that she goes to therapy, describing it as being ‘like an awakening’.

She said: ‘I absolutely love it. Some people think, oh going to therapy, why am I going to have someone tell me about myself, I know about myself, but it’s like a weight off my shoulders every single time I go. It has given me tools to deal with things.’

shane warne would bring canned baked beans to cafes for family breakfasts

Jackson Warne hit headlines this week, after the nation discovered he’d only tried ’10 foods’ his entire life on SAS Australia.

But it appears the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as on Wednesday the 21-year-old revealed his cricketing legend dad Shane Warne, 51, has some bizarre eating habits of his own.

Speaking on Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa, Jackson revealed his dad use to ‘love’ baked beans so much, he would take cans of them into cafes and request them to be cooked during family breakfasts.

‘I’ve never had baked beans,’ he laughed. ‘But funny story with baked beans!

‘When we used to go out as family for breakfast – my sisters, my mum, everyone – we would order eggs, bacon, omelette or whatever… but dad would bring in his tinned spaghetti or baked beans and ask them to put it on pieces of toast.

‘That’s how much he loved his baked beans!’

There’s always been bizarre rumours regarding Shane’s passion for the tinned baked bean.

In 1998, it was reported that Cricket Australia had a Qantas flight deliver 1,900 tins of baked beans and spaghetti to the Australian team while they were on tour in India.

In a bizarre twist, it was reported that Shane had personally demanded the supplies for himself.

Gruelling: Jackson is currently appearing on the Channel Seven's SAS Australia, where it was this week revealed to the nation that he'd only tried '10 foods' his entire life

But during his appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016, Shane dismissed the rumours once and for all.

He said: ‘Everyone thought I was desperate for baked beans, and it just sort of stuck for the last 20 years.

‘We got a few cans each and gave the rest away to all the Indians.’

SAS Australia continues Monday at 7:30pm on Channel Seven

pete evans fans tricked into thinking he won a genuine award celebrating his controversial views

Fans of conspiracy theorist Pete Evans have been tricked into thinking he has won a genuine award celebrating his controversial views on COVID-19 and anti-vaccination.

On Monday, the former My Kitchen Rules judge shared the news he had won the 2020 Bent Spoon Award, which is ‘awarded annually to the perpetrator of the most preposterous piece of paranormal or pseudo-scientific piffle’.

While the 47-year-old dubbed the win as a ‘badge of honour’ on Facebook, his impressionable social media followers failed to realise he was being sarcastic and left him congratulatory messages instead.

Addressing a headline which read: ‘Paleo Pete Evans wins Bent Spoon for second time,’ the impassioned anti-vaxxer wrote: ‘Badge of honour. Thanks team ✌️❤️’.

He made it clear that it wasn’t an award worth celebrating for him as he mockingly relayed a line from the piece: ‘While there were a number of nominations for this year’s Spoon, Evans was the hands-down choice among Skeptical groups around Australia. #thereisnospoon’.

However, his dedicated fan base failed to get the memo as one enthused: ‘Congratulations Pete!! Great recognition of all you do’.

Another gushed: ‘I’m impressed….well done Pete!’ while someone else echoed: ‘Keep up the good work Pete’.

A fourth added: ‘Stop showing off Pete, I want a badge of honour too’ while a fifth wrote: ‘Congratulations, it’s good to be recognised’.

According to the Australian Skeptics’ website, Pete has won the 2020 Bent Spoon Award for ‘the promotion of the pseudoscientific non-medical BioCharger and continuing his anti-vaccination position’.

Pete has not been without his controversies this year, with his beliefs around the coronavirus pandemic being highly-scrutinised.

In July, he claimed that COVID-19 was a ‘f**king hoax’ and that the pandemic ‘doesn’t compare to what is happening in the world on a large scale’.

In April, he was fined $25,000 for promoting the Biocharger and its effects on the coronavirus.

Pete has also been scrutinised for his dangerous anti-vaccination views. He recently claimed he was not an anti-vaxxer, but was instead ‘pro-choice’ and ‘pro-safe vac’ – terms that incorrectly suggest some vaccines are not safe.

Anti-vaxxers spread conspiracy theories with no basis in scientific fact. They claim that ‘boosting’ the immune system through diet, supplements and sunlight can make people immune to certain diseases, which is completely false.

Before vaccination campaigns in the 1960s and ’70s, diseases such as tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough killed thousands of children, whereas today in Australia, dying from one of these is extremely rare.

Pete first won The Bent Spoon Award in 2015, where his ‘diet promotions, campaigns against fluoridation and support of anti-vaccinationists’ helped him beat stiff competition.

While the close-knit family posed on a yellow floral couch in front of an array of gold ornaments, Max smiled brightly next to his grandmother wrapped in silver garland.

During the photo shoot the Let’s Get Loud hitmaker, 51, showcased her incredibly toned legs in a pair of tan leather shorts and fuzzy mid-calf boots.

She styled her chic ensemble with a crossbody purse, featuring the brand’s signature Horse and Carriage motif, and her golden hair in loose waves.

While the two-Grammy nominee’s fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, did not participate, the duo are known for expertly decking the halls together with their blended family.

Just last year, Rodriguez matched Lopez and her kids in red and black plaid onesies, and in 2018 they shared snaps of themselves decorating their large Christmas tree.

The power couple were first romantically linked in March of 2017 and officially emerged as a couple two months later at the Met Gala.

They announced their engagement in March of 2019 after Rodriguez popped the question on a Bahamian vacation, and celebrated the union with an engagement party in Los Angeles last September.

The marriage will be Rodriguez’s second and Lopez’s fourth; he was previously wed to Scurtis from 2002 to 2008, while Lopez was married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, Cris Judd from 2001 until 2003, and Anthony from 2004 thru 2014.

He is a father to daughters Natasha, 16, and Ella, 12, who he shares with Scurtis.

An insider previously told People that their kids are a driving force to the altar for the celeb couple.

‘For them both, they are still all about their family with the four kids,’ the source said. ‘Their initial strong attraction for each other would have quickly faded if they had not been able to come together as a family. The kids are amazing together. And they have wanted Jennifer and Alex to get married for a long time.’

Their destination wedding in Italy, set for this summer, was ‘indefinitely’ postponed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, according to E! News
