‘I just remember thinking she was so great for the part,’ Silverstone said. ‘I can’t remember how many girls came in to audition for Tai that day and I don’t know if I saw a few girls for it or just her, but I remember Brittany being really adorable.’

She said she thought Murphy – who died at 32 on December 20, 2009 at her Hollywood Hills home – was ‘so wonderful’ and she told director Amy Heckerling that she thought Murphy was the right pick to play Tai.

‘I said to Amy right away, “I think she’s the one! She was the best one you guys!” hoping they would agree. ‘She was like, “Uh yeah, duh.” Of course she was the best, she’s the one.”‘

Silverstone said she remembered Murphy’s mother Sharon ‘was on set a lot’ during production of the mid-90s hit.

‘I brought my mom around a little bit and we would all spend time together,’ she said. ‘But I don’t think we had any intellectual idea about us being up-and-comers in a big movie because we didn’t know we were in a big movie. Maybe other people knew, but I was so innocent and never really paying attention to career stuff at all.’

Silverstone said the attention surrounding the motion picture – which, according to Box Office Mojo, took in more than $56 million in domestic box office and left an indelible imprint on pop culture – ‘was really intense.

‘I didn’t expect any of the reaction that we got,’ said Silverstone, who rose to fame in the early 90s appearing in Aerosmith’s Cryin’ video. ‘It was a lot, and I think if anything it all pushed me away from doing this job for a while and got me so much more into my activism.

‘I eventually found my love of acting again, but at the time I didn’t know anything about what I was stepping into.’

Silverstone, who’s mom to son Bear, nine, with actor/musician Christopher Jarecki, is currently doing voiceover work on Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation as Queen Marlena.

Murphy, who was also known for her roles in Girl, Interrupted and 8 Mile, was tragically found dead after dealing with flu-like symptoms; her husband Simon Monjack died at 40 five months after she did.

She received harsh criticism following her debut as the new host of Dancing With the Stars earlier this week.

But Tyra Banks seemed unbothered as she enjoyed downtime on Friday with her beau Louis Belanger-Martin.

The 46-year-old model donned a casual look in sweats as she cuddled up to her love in the Pacific Palisades.

The former America’s Next Top Model host wore blue capri sweats, with a zip-up grey sweatshirt and colorful flip-flop sandals.

Tyra tucked her golden curled hair under a retro looking silk scarf that she tied around her head, with the ends flowing out from underneath.

She was sure to follow safety precautions amid the pandemic as she donned a black face mask.

Meanwhile her businessman beau opted for an all black outfit that was equally as casual.

Louis wore a black long-sleeve tee, and he scrunched the sleeves up to his elbows.

He teamed it with black sweats, slide on sandals and a white medical facemask.

The couple sparked engagement rumors back in August when they were seen out and Tyra had a large diamond ring on her left ring finger.

The outing comes after Tyra bravely made her debut as host of Dancing With The Stars on Monday evening during the show’s season 29 premiere.

And fans of the long-running celebrity competition series took to Twitter to ruthlessly BLAST the 46-year-old supermodel’s performance.

A majority of the tweets desperately begged for the return of veteran hosts Tom Bergeron, 65, and Erin Andrews, 42, who were shockingly canned in July.

Bergeron had been with the Dancing With The Stars franchise since it launched in 2005, while his former co-host Andrews joined the show in 2014.

In an interview with Extra earlier this month, Andrews revealed that her and Tom’s unexpected dismissals from Dancing With The Stars ‘was a surprise’ and that hers came via phone call.

Though there was never a direct reason given as to why the pair were axed, Valerie Bruce, general manager of LA Productions, stated that Dancing With The Stars was being taken ‘in a new creative direction’ for season 29.

She also offered her, ‘sincere thanks to Tom and Erin, whom we will always consider part of the Dancing with the Stars’ family.’

Fans were enamored with Gaga’s latest artistic display, and took to Twitter to hail their queen for another masterpiece from her mind.

‘911 short film by lady gaga is not for the average stan,’ Twitter user @alluregaga wrote. ‘the layers, harmonies, complexities, cinematography, the worldwide implications, the impact, the quality. every lyric and scene is imprinted into the very fabric of the universe. it is the alpha and omega.’

Another follower shared that Gaga’s latest work was ‘next level genius’ with its storyline diving deep into the psyche of the Academy Award winning performer.

‘The video is literally about how her mind takes bits and pieces of reality and distorts them into the most dramatic extreme memories in her head because she can no longer process reality on its own due to her mental illnesses,’Twitter user @bloomthisway wrote. ‘this is next level genius.’

‘The fact that she is comfortable enough to share this with all of us is so moving to me,’ @_gersonramirez wrote. ‘We never know what she (or anyone in general) is going through. I’m so happy to be a little monster and i love the message the song and video shows.’
