South Korean boy band group BTS electrified viewers as they performed their new hit single Dynamite on Wednesday during the America’s Got Talent results show.

Their song, which recently debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, is the band’s first tune to be sung completely in English.

The seven-member group performed it on a variety of sets at Universal Studios Hollywood, where AGT is filmed, as a sign blaring ‘Dynamite’ glowed brightly behind them.

They danced around a drive-in, gas station, and amusement park to the wild cheering of AGT fans, who were watching live and streamed from a stack of TV screens on set.

Viewers also enjoyed a visit by a former AGT star who brought some big names to his act.

Scottish mentalist Colin Cloud, 33, who’d appeared on AGT season 12, had earlier asked the audience to bring pendulums of some kind to the show, and hold them aloft.

He tasked the judges with writing down a random word that popped into their heads, and waited until everyone’s pendulums stopped swaying.

Colin then guessed correctly that Heidi Klum’s word had been ‘yo-yo,’ Howie Mandel’s was ‘Paris,’ and Sofia Vergara’s was ‘Happy,’ from the 2013 Pharrell Williams song.

He then showed a pre-taped video in which  AGT winners magician Shin Lim, 28, ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer, 15, and singer Kodi Lee, 24, parroted those answers.

The show’s last semifinals episode of season 15 saw AGT’s remaining 11 acts whittled down to five, all of them hoping for a shot at the $1 million grand prize.

The first person voted through was Cristina Rae, a singer from Nashville who’d survived homelessness to move the judges with her cover of Cynthia Erivo’s Jump.

‘We will end this journey together,’ said Heidi, 47, who’d given Cristina her Golden Buzzer during auditions. ‘I am so excited for you. You are a huge inspiration to so many people.’

Cristina was followed by Daneliya Tuleshova, a 14-year-old vocalist from Kazhakstan, who had given a brassy, mature performance of Jessie J.’s Who You Are.

Asked what advice she might impart to a weeping Daneliya, Sofia, 48, said, ‘I don’t think I have to tell her anything. She knows what she’s doing. She’s already a star.’

The Bello Sisters, a trio of Italian acrobats aged 13, 19, and 22, won the third open slot after impressing the judges with their ability to balance and contort their bodies.

‘I think America made the right choice,’ Howie, 64, said. ‘We’ve seen acrobats and athletes before, but never three beautiful women with that kind of strength.’

Kenadi Dodds, a 15-year-old singer from North Logan, Utah, then earned the show’s Dunkin’ Save slot, scoring votes for her version of Thomas Rhett’s Be A Light.

‘I was sitting here hoping it was going to be you,’ Heidi said. ‘You are absolutely incredible.’

The fifth act to go through was Bad Salsa, the Kolkata, India-based dance duo who’d emerged from poverty and made a name for themselves with their rapid-fire moves.

They were saved by judges Howie and Sofia, who knew what it meant to them and already thought of them as ‘international sensations’ for their dizzying, electrifying routines.

Those going home included Las Vegas mentalist Max Major; singer Celina Graves, 30; San Diego’s The Voices Of Our City Choir; New York City dance group W.A.F.F.L.E. Crew; Welsh daredevil Jonathan Goodwin, 40; and North Carolina street performer Brett Loudermilk, 31.

America’s Got Talent will air its finale and results show next week on NBC.

Hetti Bywater has admitted she is ‘glad’ her EastEnders character was killed off – because she ‘hated her’.

The actress, 26, played Lucy Beale from 2012 to 2015 until the character was bumped off by her brother Bobby Beale, but the star wasn’t a big fan of her alter-ego.

Hetti revealed her hatred of Lucy when she hit back at an Instagram troll who had been commenting on her pictures and called her a ‘trampy little w***e’.

She wrote: ‘Seeing as you kindly comment on many of my stories I will now take the time to respond to each one.

‘Firstly, this “posh white” girl is allowed to talk in whatever way she pleases. As much as I’m very found of the English language, I’m free to use words as I see fit. (sic)’

But she agreed with one comment, writing: ‘I’m glad Bobby killed Lucy too, I hated her.’

Answering another point from the troll, she said: ‘LGBTQIA+ history is an extremely important part of education. To believe otherwise is ridiculously problematic and homophobic.’

Hetti then added: ‘Trampy s**t? Fair comment. I do love gay men yes I also love straight men. (The ones who aren’t homophobic or sexist.)’

The troll later apologised to Hetti for his ‘slurs’ against her.

He wrote: ‘Apologies in any slurs I used towards you. In hindsight I was out of order. I don’t agree on all the LGBTQ but hey. That’s individual choice. Wishing you all the best and again sorry for being a d***. (sic)’

Hetti wrote: ‘The response is in people. Not the best but at least he took accountability for the sexist language. However, equality shouldn’t be up for debate.’

The plot captured the nation’s imagination as viewers spent months trying to work out who the culprit was, and several thousand was bet on who might be Lucy’s killer.

Hetti admitted in March she was too scared to try to get some shut eye because she feared her sleep paralysis might kick in.

She said: ‘I’m so scared to sleep too as I’m concerned my sleep paralysis will kick in.’

Along with her role in EastEnders, Hetti has also appeared in shows including Death in Paradise and Delicious.

the junior masterchef australia premiere date is finally announced

Junior MasterChef Australia is making a welcome return to TV, almost 10 years after it went off the air.

The third season of the MasterChef spin-off series will see 14 of the nation’s youngest cooks showcase their extraordinary culinary talents.

On Monday, Channel Ten announced that the latest season will premiere on Sunday, October 11 at 7.30pm.

MasterChef judges Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen will also feature in the series.

On Friday, Melissa shared her excitement for the latest season of Junior MasterChef, which is set to return after being axed in 2011.

‘What’s that? @jrmasterchefau has officially announced its launch date? And there’s a cockatoo on my head?’ she captioned an Instagram post.

‘Why yes! See you back on screen OCTOBER 11 @channel10au with a host of the most inspiring mini MasterChefs! I can’t wait for you to meet them.’

Contestants for this year’s season include Ruby, Etka, Laura, Porsha, Tiffany, Ben, Salvo, Filo, Georgia, Dev, Phenix, Carter and Vienna, with all aged between nine and 14.

It also includes the son of former MasterChef Australia winner Sashi Cheliah, 11-year-old Ryan.

The young boy was a familiar face on the hit cooking show in 2018, standing alongside his father during a family reunion.

Despite this, Sashi is adamant the young, aspiring cook was not recognised by producers until the first stage of the casting process on Junior MasterChef Australia.

‘I put in an application and then they called for an audition. So it’s only after the audition that they realised Ryan is my son,’ Sashi said, as reported by HuffPost Australia last week.

But Ryan is keen to make a name for himself in the culinary world, instead of being simply known as ‘Sashi’s son’.

‘People are going to know me for me, Ryan, instead of, “Oh that’s Sashi’s son”,’ the young cook told HuffPost Australia.

‘My favourite thing to cook is a fish curry. Even though it may be a bit complicated, it’s full of flavour and I really like eating it.’

Professional baker Reece Hignell, who competed on the latest season of MasterChef Australia, offered a few words of advice to the upcoming contestants on Monday.

‘Okay, so all of those people in MasterChef Junior, if you are baking, I just want to say that the blast chiller is your best friend,’ Reece, 30, said in a video uploaded to Instagram.

‘Like if you need to cool a cake, if you need to chill an ice cream, parfait, a mousse… chuck anything into that blast chiller and get it nice and cold.’

Dressing for comfort doesn’t mean dressing down where a supermodel is concerned – as demonstrated by Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber on Sunday night.

The duo were seen strutting into Milan airport looking typically glamorous as they prepared to fly home to Los Angeles after Fashion Week.

Kendall rocked a baggy sweater with a slashed blue and grey design, with stone sweatpants and white trainers.

Hailey wore a matching black crop-top and sweatpants combo, flashing her taut waist.

She covered up with a neon pink trench.

Both ladies carried designer luggage, swept their dark manes back from their features and donned face masks and dark shades.

Hailey has been showing off her natural brunette tresses during the annual fashion celebration.

Hailey donned a knee-length black leather coat for the outing which she wore over a black top and matching trousers.

The model, who is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, completed her look by styling her locks into a sleek up-do.

Milan Fashion Week is being held as a breakthrough for Italy, seven months on from when the country dealt with the devastating effects of coronavirus.

Already several well-known models have been seen in the city, with Irina Shayk and Brad Pitt’s girlfriend Nicole Poturalski walking in the BOSS show on Friday.

The Biebers are gearing up to celebrate their official second wedding anniversary on September 30 following an informal picnic on September 13 to celebrate the day they got their marriage license in New York.
