Jamie Laing joked his girlfriend Sophie Habboo is ‘one lucky lady’ after his Strictly Come Dancing training improved his skills in the bedroom.
The Made In Chelsea star, 31, who has been with co-star Sophie Habboo, 26, for over a year, told MailOnline ‘the sex appeal oozing out of me is frightening’ thanks to his round-the-clock dance session with pro partner Karen Hauer, 38.
In an exclusive interview ahead of his Strictly performance on Saturday, Jamie said he would be a ‘fool’ to let anything come in between him and Sophie, and his romance with her has been the ‘most settled’ he’s ever felt in a relationship.
‘I am basically walking sex’: Jamie Laing joked his girlfriend Sophie Habboo is ‘one lucky lady’ after his Strictly training improved his skills in the bedroom
Jamie said: ‘The sex appeal that is oozing out of me right now is frightening! I am basically walking sex. She’s just one lucky lady!
‘Every single day I send her videos of us dancing, she is bored of it now because I’m constantly asking her what she thinks and now she just says I’m not good enough yet. We have to wait until I get to week five.
‘Karen said to me on Thursday when we did our dance for the 400th time, she said “I think you’re finally started to learn what dance is.” And I said, “does that mean I’m sexy?” and she said “no,” which was disappointing.’
Jamie has been known as one of Chelsea’s loveable lotharios for years, after dating a long list of his co-stars including Louise Thompson, Jess Woodley, Frankie Gaff, Heloise Agostinelli and his current girlfriend Sophie, nicknamed Habbs.

Strictly curse?: In an exclusive interview ahead of his Strictly performance on Saturday, Jamie said he would be a ‘fool’ to let anything come in between him and Sophie
His one-year romance with Habbs hasn’t been smooth sailing either, as she’s the ex-girlfriend of Jamie’s close friend Sam Thompson, who wasn’t happy after he found out the pair were dating.
Jamie also betrayed Habbs last year after admitting to cheating on her with former co-star Rosi Mai Waldon – in dramatic scenes that were filmed for the E4 series.
But Jamie has claimed to MailOnline that he’s learned to control his flirtatious personality, and says there are no other skeletons in his closet.
He said: ‘I have done a TV show that revolves around dating now for so long that I think it would be… the Strictly curse, everyone thinks I’m going to be flirty.

‘My girlfriend is incredible’: The former Chelsea lothario said he realised what he’s been searching for in a partner after becoming romantically involved with close friend, Sophie
‘But my girlfriend is one of the most incredible people I have ever met and far better than me in every single way. I would be the fool to ever let anything come between us.
‘I don’t think it’s my longest relationship yet but it’s the one that I feel the most settled. I feel incredibly happy. Relationships are tricky right? You have your ups and downs.
‘It’s when I realised what I’m searching for in terms of a partner, do I want to go out and sleep with people? I’ve met someone who is my best buddy – I get to hang out with my best mate all day, it’s epic.
‘We already know everything about each other. There aren’t any skeletons.’
In action: Jamie was welcomed back to the Strictly cast this year after falling out of the competition in 2019 following an injury to his foot
After being one of the reality show’s longest running cast members, joining in 2011 during the second series, Jamie confirmed this week that he will be taking a step back from filming to focus on his dancing.
He said: ‘I will not be on the rest of the current series, we will see what happens in the future but I have Strictly as my focus at the moment.
‘I am taking a step back from the show at the moment to concentrate on Strictly but I am one of those people that say never say never. It’s a wonderful show and has done so much for me.
‘I am incredibly loyal towards Channel 4 and Monkey Kingdom for the opportunity and I wouldn’t be doing Strictly without them.’

On Saturday night, Jamie will perform the American Smooth to Frank Sinatra track Night and Day after opening last week’s launch show with the Cha Cha Cha.
Jamie said training this week has taken its toll as the intricate steps of the dance have left his feet ‘hating their owner.’
He said: ‘The balls of my feet feel like I have attacked them all night.
‘I honestly have been trying to ice them and do everything I can to protect them. I have never in my life walked on the balls of my feet for more than two minutes.
‘Now I have to dance the American Smooth on the balls of my feet – I have never known feet to hate their owner so much. I nearly caught my feet walking away from me last night.
‘The only way I am healing at the moment is from having a bath. I have such huge respect for the professional dancers because they’re so incredibly fit and agile and healthy. Their feet must hurt so much but they don’t care!’
Strictly Come Dancing – Saturday at 7:10pm and Sunday at 7:15pm on BBC One
