They have both forged successful careers in media.

And now brothers Karl and Peter Stefanovic are to be recognised as two high-profile Australians of Serbian descent, by a South Western Sydney council.

As reported by The Sunday Telegraph, Karl, 46, and Peter, 38, whose father is half Serbian, will be honoured with their own public park, alongside other notable personalities.

The location of the park and how exactly how the brothers will be honoured, is yet to be made public.

In a pitch by Liverpool councillors, obtained by The Sunday Telegraph, the park ‘would honour modern Australians of Serbian descent such as Rale Rasic, Jelena Dokic, Professor Ana Deletic, and Karl and Peter Stefanovic’.

It will, however, not be named the ‘Stefanovic Park’.

Appearing on Nova’s Kate, Tim and Marty radio show in May 2017, Karl revealed that his surname is often pronounced incorrectly.

‘Is there a Serbian version of Stefanovic? Have we tidied it up for the Anglo world we live in?’ radio host Marty Sheargold asked Karl.

‘Yes – Stef-AHN-oh-VICH,’ he responded, adding that after a few issues at school, his father ‘changed it to Stefanovic’ as it ‘sounded more Australian’.

Karl began his career with the Nine Network as a reporter for National Nine News in Brisbane back in 2000.

The only final detail revealed: The park will not, however, be named the 'Stefanovic Park'. The brothers are pictured with their children, Harper May (Karl's daughter) and Oscar (Peter's son)

However, he is most known for his role on Nine’s Today show, which he currently co-hosts alongside Allison Langdon.

Peter commenced his career at Nine as a reporter for A Current Affair and Nine News in 2004.

After a lengthy stint as a foreign correspondent, Peter returned home, landing roles on Nine’s Weekend Today and 60 Minutes.

He now co-hosts Sky News Australia’s First Edition alongside Laura Jayes.

Kate Beckinsale has reportedly split from boyfriend Goody Grace after nine months of dating.

The actress, 47, has allegedly unfollowed the singer, 23, on Instagram and deleted any trace of him from her social media, after he moved into her home during lockdown.

Kate and Goody first sparked dating rumours in April when they were publicly seen together for the first time, and their split comes just three months after publicly declared their love for one another.

According to The Sun, Goody has allegedly returned to his native Canada after splitting from Kate, but he is still following her on social media.

While Kate has deleted any trace of her ex, including a birthday post she shared back in June, Goody’s account still features his gushing birthday post for the Underworld actress, which he posted in July.

Kate’s own birthday comment for Goody which she posted back in June also still features on his account.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Kate Beckinsale and Goody Grace for comment.

Kate was first romantically linked with Grace back in April, when they were spotted holding hands while out for a walk.

A source told HollywoodLife in July: ‘They actually have a lot in common. Kate is a free spirit and she appreciates that Goody is talented. He’s really mature, and they can have deep conversations but also can be really playful and goofy at the same time.

‘She just enjoys being with him and she loves him for who he is. He treats her with complete respect and what else could a woman ask for in a partner.’

‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY I LOVE YOU,’ he commented on her Instagram post, to which she responded: ‘@goodygrace I love you [kiss face emoji].’

Kate was also forced to hit back at a social media troll who criticised the age gap in their relationship.

‘Why do you keep dating guys that could be your children?’ the troll asked, to which she quipped: ‘Every relationship I have had has been solely to annoy you.’

The Much Ado About Nothing star has previously enjoyed romances with younger men, including SNL’s Pete Davidson, 26, comedian Matt Rife, 21 and British personality Jack Whitehall, 30.

In an interview with Women’s Health magazine, she said men ‘constantly do whatever they like’, whereas women over the age of 32 seem to be committing a ‘political act’ whenever they do anything ‘risqué’ or ‘fun’.

The mother-of-one explained: ‘It can feel like a little bit of a political act to be a woman over 32 who’s having any fun at all. “Oh my god, I’m going to sit home and anticipate menopause while crocheting”.

‘Unless you’re doing that, it somehow seems to be risqué, which is just ridiculous to me. I witness men constantly doing whatever they like, whether in relationships, or deciding to buy a motorbike, or getting a tattoo.

‘It hasn’t been interpreted as, “why hasn’t he had more children?” or “is he ever going to decide to become a parent?” or “why has he had so many girlfriends?”.’

brooklyn beckham and nicola peltz have postponed their wedding to 2022

Brooklyn Beckham ‘has postponed his wedding to Nicola Peltz to 2022 so the couple do not have to limit the number of guests due to the coronavirus pandemic’.

The eldest son of David and Victoria, 21, and actress Nicola, 25, plan to exchange vows at the Beckhams’ Cotswolds estate and her home state of Florida to ensure both of their loved ones can attend.

The couple are understood to have originally told guests to save the date for September 2021 but have pushed the celebrations to 2022 because it is ‘too risky’.

A source told The Mirror: ‘They originally told close friends to save a date in September 2021.

‘This week, Brooklyn told his mates they’ve decided to postpone as it’s too risky.’

The source revealed that the couple may choose to tie the knot on their own and have celebrations in 2022.

MailOnline has contacted representatives of Brooklyn Beckham for comment.

Brooklyn and Nicola, the daughter of US tycoon Nelson Peltz, announced their engagement in July following a whirlwind romance and plan to exchange vows in two celebrations on both sides of the Atlantic.

It’s thought that Brooklyn will have his brothers Romeo, 18, and Cruz, 15, as his best men for the ceremony, with proud mum Victoria designing actress Nicola’s wedding gown.

According to The Sun, Brooklyn’s sister Harper, nine, will be chief bridesmaid for Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding.

The two ceremonies – held in Nicola’s home state of Florida and the Beckhams’ estate in the Cotswolds – will ensure that both Brooklyn and Nicola’s loved ones can be in attendance.

Brooklyn’s father David will act as the master of ceremonies, with his younger sons being best men for the celebration and giving a joint speech at the reception.

A source said: ‘Brooklyn is incredibly family focused, just like his parents, and the boys are so close. They are brothers and best mates.

‘Although many assumed David would get the gig, there was really never any question of who he would choose to be his best men.’

It’s also been reported that Victoria has been given the honour of designing Nicola’s wedding dress, with the insider adding that it’s likely to be a sleek minimal design and has even considered designing a suit for the blushing bride.

It’ll be the third big-name design for Victoria, after she created pal Eva Longoria’s dress in 2016, followed by a dress worn by Meghan Markle on Christmas Day.

As expected the wedding will boast a star-studded guest list, with names such as Victoria’s Spice Girls bandmates Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Horner.

katherine jenkins says she had to learn to live in the same house as her husband during lockdown

She’s the mezzo-soprano who’s used to a jet-set lifestyle, performing all over the world.

And Katherine Jenkins opened up on the downtime she’s spent with her family during the coronavirus lockdown, as she stated that her experience was ‘quite full on’.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show in scenes to be aired on Saturday, the Welsh singer, 40, revealed she had to ‘learn to live in the same house’ as her husband Andrew Levitas, 43, after spending so much time apart.

With her busy career keeping her away from the family home a lot of the time, Katherine reflected on having to make the happy adjustment of seeing her filmmaker husband night after night.

She said: ‘It felt quite full on. I haven’t spent that many consecutive nights in the same house with my husband, so that was lovely.

‘I was always away or he was away filming. We had to learn to live in the same house.’

Katherine also shared fellow guest Daniel Mays’ thoughts on home-schooling being tough, with the actor remarking that he ‘didn’t know if I was coming or going’.

The singer shared: ‘I’ve got a 2 and a 5-year-old. A little bit of home-schooling – I feel your pain on that [Daniel].’

Meanwhile, Katherine opened up about being directed by her husband in upcoming World War Two film Minamata.

She said of Andrew: ‘He really wanted me to do the role. I don’t consider myself as an actress. To be in a scene with Johnny Depp and Bill Nighy – I actually said no a few times.

‘Eventually I gave in. It’s an amazing story about corporate greed and standing up for the small people. I said, “These are the only few days of your life you get to boss me around”.’

She continued: ‘It was really nice to work with my husband. It’s a very different process. When we perform, it’s an instant reaction and you go home. With filming it takes so much longer and so long before everyone sees the results. I guess you have to be more patient.’

Katherine and Andrew began dating on 2013, before trying the knot at Hampton Court Palace in September 2014.

They’ve since welcomed daughter Aaliyah, five, and two-year-old Xander.

The opera sensation has previously spoken about the impact that her and her husband being at home a lot has had on her kids.

Speaking on Loose Women in July, she said: ‘I think the kids have really thrived having us both there and so we take the positive of that, but it’s actually been really special to get this time together.’

Katherine went to sweetly say how much her children has changed her life, adding that they’ve made her a ‘better version’ of herself.

She said: ‘Becoming a wife, I love being a mum, it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

‘Being a mum has made me a lot more patient, more sure of myself and my choices, it’s made me realise my priorities in life. So I think it’s just made me a better version of myself.’
