Australian rock band INXS are set for their own live musical production.

The band’s long-time manager Chris Murphy has joined forces with music labels Universal and Warner Chappell to bring the stage production to life, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

The eagerly anticipated show will feature up to 200 songs recorded from INXS, beginning from when they first rocketed to fame in 1977.

After discussing the project for a decade, Chris has brought on board Sydney-based producer Michael Cassel to develop the show.

Michael confirmed to the publication that a successful and well-known international writer will bring in the story to life.

‘If all goes to plan, we could have a table reading with actors in Sydney sometime in early 2021. That would be our hope,’ Michael said.

He added: ‘The potential for this is huge, INXS were a true global supergroup, the appeal of their music still stands today.

‘It’s now a matter of coming up with a story which can draw inspiration from those songs in a new and compelling way.’

On Wednesday, the band made chart history when their album The Best of INXS (released 2002) reached Diamond status in Australia.

It’s half term, the kiddies are here at home. I’m just going to count my blessings , I’m lucky I’ve got lots of good things in life.

‘I miss my mum like mad, I miss her every single day, I think of her every second, she’s got an operation today and I can’t be with her. It’s just s**t.

‘But she will come out stronger, better and healthier. So I’m gonna keep smiling, keep praying, keep listening to music and have the occasional meltdown when I want to because I can. ‘

Then, swapping into her teal cutout bodysuit from the Poker Face music video, followed by her futuristic metallic look from her Super Bowl performance, Gaga explained that she was there to talk those who haven’t voted, were undecided or maybe don’t plan on voting.

‘I believe, no matter how you feel right now about the election, you are still accountable,’ she said.

‘Maybe you’re sick of all the fighting or you’re frustrated by COVID and don’t want to deal with it, or maybe you dislike all the candidates or maybe you feel so discouraged by the state of our nation that you decided you don’t believe in voting because you feel it’s better not to be a part of the system — the system you don’t like.’

‘If you want to change this system, if you want this country to be different than it is right now, you have got to participate in this election,’ Gaga continued.

‘When they announce who has won the election, it will be very clear what this country has become,’ Gaga said.

She added that regardless of how people feel, the future is in their control of they exercise the right to vote.

‘The fact is that the most critical vote right now is the one this country may never get to see. It’s yours,’ she said.

The star, who checked the Biden/Harris box, has been critical of President Trump and his policies.

Additionally, in 2017, Gaga teamed up with Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on a PSA to support sexual assault survivors – a cause near and dear to both their hearts.

‘I’ve never been shy to make my voice heard, I’ve said a lot of things in a lot of different ways, wearing a lot of different outfits, makeup, hats, dresses made out of meat, jumping off of stadiums, screaming on stage,’ she said to end the video.

paris jackson gets her heart ripped out in haunting new music video for debut single let down

Paris Jackson is following in her famous father Michael Jackson’s footsteps with the release of her heartbreaking debut song Let Down.

On Friday, the 22-year-old released the music video for the song that featured a Phantom of the Opera meets Haunted Mansion visual performance.

The haunting video for the alternative-folk tune, shows Paris getting her heart ripped  out as she sings about the pain of a breakup with lyrics like, ‘You were my all, And now, I fall.’

In the video, Paris is dressed in victorian style garb as she appears against a spooky mansion backdrop.

She starts the video crying a single tear of blood before the video theatrically mimics the stages of a relationship and ultimately its end.

The song is marked by painful lyrics like, ‘Break me, flush me down the drain,’ and  ‘You were all I had…how did it get this bad.’

Paris can be seen dancing with a man in the video, before she gets swept away by figures in masks who restrain her as she cries.

Reminiscing on the happier times, she shares a kiss with the guy before she rips a flower into pieces.

The brief moment of sweetness is short-lived as she is hurled into a backbend before he rips her heart out – a physical representation of her feelings.

The ending shot shows her laying on the floor bloody with her heart next to her.

Speaking to People about the release of her tune, Jackson said: ‘I feel so many emotions. I’m excited. I’m nervous…mostly grateful and happy. The freedom to create [and] not be told what to sing and how to sing it [or] what to write is awesome. It’s a gift. It’s a blessing.’

She continued to share that writing her album gave her ‘so much healing,’ as she did it in part to help her process the emotions of a painful breakup.

Though it is not made clear who the song is about, Paris most recently ended a two year relationship with boyfriend Gabriel Glenn, 23, over the summer

Appearing on a Facebook Watch series with her then boyfriend over the summer Jackson talked about her bisexuality before saying that she ‘never thought [she’d] end up with a dude,’ as she has dated more women than men.

She continued, ‘The public only knows about three long term relationships I’ve been with and they’ve been with men.’

Paris and Gabriel ended their relationship in August after two years. The duo performed together under the name The Soundflowers and released in EP in June.

In the past, Paris has been linked to Cara Delevingne though the duo never confirmed their relationship, despite being spotted kissing in photos.

Before the release of the video, Paris did a live rendition and a Q+A, where she got candid about her life after saying she felt ‘awkward’ on camera.

She shared a bit about herself – from her favorite music video, to her favorite tattoo – before saying that musically, she was going for an alternative-folk vibe for her album.

Jackson teased plans to go on tour when the world opens up, saying she’d love to perform overseas but it was ultimately down to her label.

Speaking about the pain of losing her King of Pop dad when she was just 11-years-old Jackson said:

‘Whether it was him passing or all the shit that has happened to me in my life, If I don’t talk about it or if I don’t put it in the music, it’s going to completely ruin my life and it’s going to own me.’

The artist, who has been open about her mental health struggles and battle with suicide, is dropping her heartfelt debut album Wilted on November 13th.
