The trailer begins with Phylicia Rashad’s character opening up a unique book with mechanical gears on the cover, telling a story to a young boy and girl.

‘Once upon a time, lived the greatest inventor that ever there was, Jeronicus Jangle,’ she begins.

We see Jangle in his shop, as Delacroix (Hugh Bonneville), who says that, ‘for the last 30 years, you’ve been promising something sensational.’

While Jangle says he ‘needs more time,’ Delacroix issues an ultimatum: ‘Either come up with the money you borrowed by Christmas or show me the revolutionary invention you once promised.’

Jangle insists, ‘I would lose everything,’ as he meets his daughter outside of his shop, who asks him what’s wrong.

He tells her that he once, ‘had a perfect life’ with ‘a loving family and a magical shop,’ until, ‘an old friend took it all… but he didn’t get this.’

While it’s unclear exactly what he’s holding in the shot right away, another shot reveals it appears to be the power supply of sorts for a small robotic creation.

When powered on, the robot reveals, ‘I’m Buddy,’ which apparently seems to have some sort of magical powers as Jangle’s granddaughter and the robot are seen flying around.

Unfortunately, Jangle’s former assistant who stole his creations is spying on them and schemes to steal the toy for himself, stating, ‘If I have that toy, I’ll be unstoppable.’

Then one of the toy creations he stole, a small sentient doll dressed like a bullfighter, said, ‘You are proof there are fools’ after he calls his plan ‘fool proof.’

Jangle’s granddaughter is seen doing more magical things before telling her grandfather his shop is the only place she’s felt like she belonged, proclaiming, ‘We have to get Buddy back.’

The trailer winds down with a number of random shots including a magical snowball fight and a number of song and dance scenes.

The film from writer-director David E. Talbert (Almost Christmas) also features original songs by John Legend, Philip Lawrence, Davy Nathan, and “This Day” performed by Usher and Kiana Ledé, debuting on Netflix and in select theaters on November 13.

Bridget Fonda has kept mostly out of the spotlight over the past 18 years, which has left plenty of quality family time.

The two-time Golden Globe nominee expanded on their family home, purchasing a neighboring property back in June of 2015.

She and husband Danny Elfman have recently listed both their neighboring ‘his and hers’ mansions in Los Angeles, available for purchase separately or as a set for $14.6million.

‘Also, how you speak to yourself in your mind as there is currently a lot of worry. With money, the future… If you catch yourself speaking negatively to yourself just try and replace with some positive affirmations,’ the 39-year-old continued.

‘An attitude of gratitude and looking for the good things in life. Try not to watch the news. Limit the time on that as it can be a scary place.’

Tanya also said that cutting out sugar is her biggest tip for staying in shape.

‘The best way is obviously exercise,’ she explained.

‘I am terrible for eating ice lollies and crisps and stuff but I try to limit the sugar. It really does help, especially with women’s hormones.

‘Sugar, for me, gives me the worst hormones ever. It upsets the apple cart in the hormone’s life. So just exercise and really try to keep moving.’

Despite the drama of filming during a pandemic, Tanya promises that the twelfth season, which is airing now, is one of the best yet.

‘This series you will see my own clothing range, My Glam Style, which is affordable and accessible,’ she said.

‘It is for like trendy mums, mums that don’t want to get their bellies out! You will see us do a fashion show but, due to the pandemic, it is streamed live. It was very interesting to film,’ she laughed.

‘I think, considering we were filming during a pandemic, this series is probably going to be one of the best ones.’
