lady gaga puts her strength and courage on display during a day of rock climbing

Lady Gaga has climbed the heights of the music industry to reach superstar status as a singer, songwriter and performer.

And on Sunday the New York City native showed she isn’t afraid to tackle other worldly heights when she headed out and spent part of the afternoon rock climbing.

The Born This Way star, 34, gave her 44.3 million Instagram fans and followers a glimpse at her courageous feat by sharing a photo of herself scaling the side of a huge rock.

The photo was taken several feet above Gaga’s head as she looked to reach a platform area where she could take a brief breather.

She made a simple but profound statement about the strength and courage it took to part-take in the dangerous sport by captioning it with arm bicep and red heart emojis.

Her back muscles could be seen bulging when she reached out to take her next steps dressed in a grey sports bra.

She also donned matching grey shorts, tan sneakers and a baby blue helmet over her long blonde tresses.

To help stave off the powerful glare from the sun, Gaga (born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) wore dark sunglasses.

The A Star Is Born actress and singer’s day of rock climbing comes on the heels of her confessing that she has learned how to embrace her life again following a bout of depression.

In an interview on CBS Sunday Morning last month, the Grammy winning shared how the pressures of fame had caused her to contemplate suicide.

‘I totally gave up on myself, I hated being famous. I hated being a star. I felt exhausted and used up,’ she said of her mental health struggles.

But she was able to break through her depression, in part, by channeling that pain and darkness into her latest studio album Chromatica.

‘I don’t hate Lady Gaga anymore,’ she said before confessing, ‘I found a way to love myself again, even when I thought that was never gonna happen.’

Her latest single, 911 off of Chromatica, addresses mental health and the use of anti-psychotic medication.

She went out all out for the annual TOWIE Halloween party this year.

And Yazmin Oukhellou marked this year’s Halloween by sharing a gruesome snap of her ‘botched Barbie’ costume from the event on her Instagram page.

The TOWIE star, 26, was covered in surgery markings across her face and chest, while her bust, forehead and lips were lined with bloodied scars.

Yazmin switched her brunette tresses for a platinum blonde curly wig, which was also stained with fake blood, offering a frightful result.

As well as her special effects make-up, Yazmin also sported a glamorous full face of foundation, as well as a dramatic eye make-up look.

Yazmin also made it look like she had just undergone a boob job, as her ample chest was wrapped in blood-stained bandages.

She captioned the snap: ‘Botched Barbie. Happy Halloween.’

Yazmin has openly shared about going under the knife with her fans on social media.

In 2018, the bombshell revealed that she had undergone a second boob job.

Taking to Instagram to show off the results, she shared a snap of herself posing seductively on a boat in a sexy black bikini, Yazmin admitted she was ‘so pleased’ with the results after her previous augmentation left her struggling to feel confident.

As well as her two breast augmentations, the TOWIE stunner also previously admitted to having a rhinoplasty last year after breaking her nose.

Once again choosing to announce her op on social media, she explained: ‘I had a previous broken nose and deviated septum so surgery was the only option for me.

‘I am so glad I did it as I was nervous at first but so happy that I can now breathe properly and that the small bump has gone. As I have stated before in previous posts I am NOT telling people to run out and have cosmetic surgery due to vanity.

‘I am saying that if you want to get surgery, have been thinking about it for a long time and like me I had no other option then people should feel comfortable to and feel they won’t be judged.’

Another TOWIE star who has been open about her experience with cosmetic surgery is Amy Childs, who revealed she regretted her choices and felt like a ‘freak’.

In a BBC documentary earlier this year, Amy warned two young fans about the potential dangers of surgery and admitted she is ‘part of the problem’ with young girls wanting it done.

Amy also went all out for Halloween this year ahead of the show’s special, as she dressed up as an Egyptian mummy for the occasion.

The reality star wore zombie-style eye contacts and wrapped her chest, neck and hair in strips of bandage.

Emma Willis shared snaps of herself celebrating Halloween in fun-filled style on Friday, when she took her three children to visit a pumpkin patch.

However, the 44-year-old TV host’s efforts proved a little more testing than she likely expected, as the family arrived to find the area completely stripped of pumpkins.

Taking to Instagram, the stunning broadcaster shared a snap of herself standing in the middle of an empty field, adding the caption: ‘And when she got there, the pumpkin patch was bare…’

After conceding that she ‘maybe should have gone earlier’, the star later shared another image declaring that she’d successfully sourced the winter squash.

Sharing a snap of her husband Matt Willis, 37, victoriously holding a pumpkin aloft, she also showed her four ‘pumpkins’ – Isabelle, 11, Ace, eight, and Trixie, four – as as well – walking through the muddy field.

Emma’s outing comes after she addressed the conversation that was sparked about her son Ace, after she shared a snap of him wearing a pink top and sporting long blond hair.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain earlier this month, the presenter said she was ‘overwhelmed’ by the reaction, sweetly saying: ‘He’s just my son in a pink top.’

She continued: ‘For me that’s normality. He loves colour, he’s always had long hair, he’s a free and able-minded boy.

‘He’s like, ” why do I have to dress in green and blue and grey, when I love red and pink and purple?” He’s always been that way.’

She continued: ‘We’re trying to raise him as an open-minded, inclusive individual. There were some negative bits, but that’s where the block button is great!’

Emma had appeared on the show to talk about her new charity initiative, Be My Guest in which fans pay £5 and can win a call with a host of celebs.

Keep cosy in a Next roll neck like Emma

Emma Willis always looks chic, so it just makes sense that she was given the opportunity to create her own clothing collection with high street brand Next.

We spotted the TV star wearing some of her pieces as she stepped out with her family this week.

Emma opted for a dreamy tan roll neck jumper from her collection, which she paired with a matching coat, flare trousers and chunky boots.

Now that winter is here, it’s all about layering up in style and this jumper ticks all the right boxes. It features a high neckline, with elegant long sleeves and a super soft cashmere touch.

Meanwhile, Emma’s good friend Fearne Cotton, 39, has asked Ace to make her a dress.

The presenter took to Instagram to leave a playful comment under Emma’s post, which saw her hail her son as her biggest style inspiration, earning a sea of praise from her fans.

Fearne was among a slew of stars who shared sweet comments for Emma’s son, writing: ‘I miss Ace! When is he making me that dress?’

Over the weekend Emma had hailed her son as her biggest style inspiration as she shared a snap of him wearing his pink crop top, ripped jeans, and pink Nike trainers.

Emma and her husband Matt, 37, are very private with their family life and keep the faces of their kids Isabelle, 11, Ace, and Trixie, four hidden in any social media posts.

In the image of Ace posted by his mum Emma, his face was masked by a mass of long blond hair, as the Big Brother host gushed over his fashion choices.

She captioned the image: ‘My little style icon ❤️ (Ace, not Matt )’, referencing the fact her husband of 12 years was stood in the background of the photo.

Fans praised the presenter for posting the photo, with one saying: ‘Just shows how far we have to go in breaking down gender stereotypes. Pink is simply a colour. Hair grows. Let kids (or adults) wear whatever they want!’

She recently opened up about how she will never take her age for granted.

And Nigella Lawson appeared in high spirits as she headed to a television filming studio with a spring in her step on Saturday afternoon in London.

The TV chef, 50, cut a chic figure in a red checked shirt which she wore underneath a black wrap jacket and a pair of black skinny jeans.

She styled her glamorous daytime look with a pair of knee-high black suede boots, which added inches to her frame.

Nigella wore her brunette locks in loose glamorous curls and sported light touches of make-up, including mascara and dark liner.

The TV personality carried her belongings in a tote bag slung over her shoulder.

Earlier this week, Nigella revealed she never saw herself reaching 60 after witnessing the deaths of multiple family members under the age of 50.

She said she will never take her age for granted after watching those around her die young; her mother at 48, her sister aged 32 and then her late husband John Diamond at 47.

Speaking in Good Housekeeping magazine’s December issue, the television chef said: ‘I’m not a planner – apart from when it comes to food! But to be completely honest, I’ve never been able to take for granted that I’d be alive by this age.

‘My mother died at 48 and my sister at 32. And then John [Diamond, her late husband] at 47.

‘So, even if I were the sort of person who planned ahead, I don’t think I would have seen myself here… I kind of think you can’t do anything about it [ageing] so why complain?’

She admitted going through the trauma of losing those close to her has changed her entire attitude towards the ageing process.

Nigella explained: ‘I also know what the alternative is, so it feels wrong when you’ve been surrounded by people who have died young to say “My hair’s awful, I’ve got to get my roots done” or “My hands look like lizards”.

‘So I don’t dwell on it. As long as you’re healthy, that really is the most important thing.’
