The Piano Man has a need for speed!

Legendary singer-songwriter Billy Joel has had a life-long love affair with owning and riding motorcycles; in particular, vintage motorcycles and Harley-Davidsons.

And on Saturday the New York City native put that passion on display when he ventured out for cruise along the streets in the upscale neighborhood of The Hamptons in Long Island, New York.

Get you motor running: Billy Joel, 71, headed out for a ride on one of his vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycles in The Hamptons in Long Island, New York on Saturday

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame artist, 71, looked biker ready in an all-black ensemble that consisted of jeans, a leather jacket and boots.

When spotted, Joel was getting ready to get back on his vintage Harley by putting his helmet and googles back on for another spin.

During a brief break from his weekend ride, the Only the Good Die Young musician was seen wearing a black baseball cap while enjoying a cigar

Joel’s affinity for motorcycles started as a teenager, but it wasn’t until 1977, when he gained fame and fortune, that he was able to kick-start his riding career.

Never one to shun foreign bikes, he started off with a pair of Yamahas, which eventually led to him purchasing his first Harley-Davidson in 1979.

Over the years Joel accumulated an impressive collection of motorcycles, with at any time having 50 to 75 of them road-ready or in the repair and restoration phase.

By 2010, Joel bought and old Ford dealership in Long Island and turned it into a motorcycle shop, 20th Century Cycles, where he puts most of his collection on display.

Eventually the shop was open to the public and used as a place to restore his bikes and occasionally for others.

Joel released 12 studio albums from 1971 to 1993, and another in 2001, during his illustrious career.

By selling over 150 million records sold worldwide, he is considered one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Cardi B’s husband Offset, 28, was detained and then released by police on Saturday after allegedly ‘waving guns at people’ while driving by a Trump rally in Beverly Hills.

And moments prior to the incident, Cardi B, 28, uploaded two sultry snapshots that showed her posing next to her brand new Rolls Royce to Instagram.

The WAP rapper also posted clips to her Instagram Story that showed her passing through the same Trump Rally as her husband, but she appeared to be riding in a different car.

‘Sassy lil b*tch,’ captioned the hitmaker, who donned a figure hugging orange dress that featured a dramatic side slit for her self-portraits on Saturday.

She paired the eye-catching number with some strappy orange sandals that wrapped around her ankles and calves.

Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, had her raven tresses styled into a 1960’s beehive and she had her freshly manicured hands wrapped around the handle of a fuchsia Birkin bag.

Cardi’s tone immediately changed from ‘sassy’ to concerned as she filmed people parading down the road with Trump flags and various other paraphernalia in their hands.

‘Look how many f**king people! I’m scared now…we’re gonna get jumped. I really feel like we gonna get jumped,’ began Cardi as she continued to pan her iPhone camera over the scene.

She captured the footage from the backseat of her Rolls Royce, while her driver remained focused on navigating his way through the congested area.

In a follow-up video, Cardi captured a line of revved up trucks with flags attached to their beds resting in a line at a stop light.

‘Trump supporters are everywhere. I’m scared! I don’t like it with they big a** trucks,’ said the rapper via narration as she continued to film the rally attendees.

In her third and final clip, Cardi and her vehicle appeared to be parked on a side street as she remarked on how many alleged Trump supporters were ‘walking around.’

‘Look how they walking around with fake guns and sh*t and covering their face,’ said the rapper at one moment as two people carrying squirt guns and donning grey morph suits strolled by her parked car.

According to Beverly Hills Police Department, Offset was ‘only detained,’ but has since been released, as per TMZ.

Unfortunately, the outlet revealed that Cardi’s cousin Marcelo Almanzar was arrested for ‘possession of a concealed loaded weapon.’

A source close to the situation told TMZ that Cardi is ‘concerned about her cousin.’

Cardi and Offset, who wed in 2017, share two-year-old daughter named Kulture.

Though Cardi has not addressed the incident regarding her husband publicly, Offset captured a large majority of his interaction with police on his Instagram Live, just before he was detained.

That officer told Offset there were reports he had been ‘waving guns at people’ as he drove through the area. He replied that Trump supporters had hit his car with a flag.

During the livestream video, Offset can be heard telling officers: ‘I’m a f**king celebrity, do you know who I am? I’m Offset from [hip-hop trio] Migos’.

studio 10 boss defends new look format as ratings fail to surge

It’s been more than a month since Studio 10 debuted its new-look lineup with Sarah Harris and Tristan MacManus at the helm.

And while the pair have yet to deliver a surge in ratings, Channel 10 bosses say they’re confident the numbers will grow.

‘We’re encouraged by how the show is evolving,’ executive producer Tamara Simoneau told The Sunday Telegraph this weekend.

Ms Simoneau emphasised that while format changes always take time to resonate with audiences, Studio 10 is destined for greatness.

‘Tristan has done a fantastic job settling into the co-hosting role with Sarah Harris and we’re confident the momentum will continue to build over the coming months,’ she insisted.

Studio 10 underwent a dramatic overhaul in August amid a swathe of Network budge cuts, which saw panelist Kerri-Anne Kennerley made redundant.

Former Dancing With The Stars judge Tristan joined the show on September 14, attracting 54,000 metro viewers.

Ratings steadily declined over the next week, averaging 38,000 metro viewers – down 21 per cent compared to the same time last year.

The show continued to struggle in the ratings, hitting a high of 53,000 on October 9, and a low of 26,000 on October 16.

Meanwhile, Tristan’s move to Studio 10 spelled the end of Dancing With The Stars – which was officially canned on October 15.

‘We have decided to hang up our dancing shoes, lycra pants and sequined jackets for the time being,’ a network spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia at the time.

‘We would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all those involved in the show, in particular Amanda Keller and Grant Denyer, who were fabulous hosts, as well as all the judges, dancers, the stars and of course the crew.’
