oprah winfreys longtime partner stedman graham claims hes not defined by their relationship

Oprah Winfrey‘s longtime partner Stedman Graham has revealed what it’s like being in a relationship with one of the world’s most successful media stars.

Speaking to The Kyle & Jackie O Show on Wednesday, the author and businessman, 69, acknowledged that, while most people only know him for his relationship, it doesn’t impact how he sees himself.

‘I’m defined a lot by my relationship with Oprah, but it has nothing to do with me,’ he declared.

‘That’s how you define me! That’s how you define me, it’s not how I define myself,’ he added.

Stedman explained that viewing himself as separate from 66-year-old Oprah’s success has allowed the couple to ‘maintain the equality in the relationship’.

‘I’m not focused on their development as a way to equalise and create freedom, I’m focused on my own development,’ he added, describing Oprah as ‘unbelievable’.

‘I’m developing a process of continuous improvement every day based on my skills, talents, abilities, interests and passion. That’s what makes me happy.

‘So I don’t care what you do. I could care less who you are or what you do or what you’ve been able to accomplish, because it has nothing to do with who I am as a person.’

When asked about any arguments the couple might have, Stedman revealed he and Oprah tend to be quite similar.

‘We think the same, we’re in the same business. The difference is, she does it in the air, I do it on the ground, so I’m grassroots,’ he added.

The couple first met at a charity event back in 1986, and have been together ever since, getting engaged in 1992.

‘We want each other to succeed. And I want her to succeed and to be as successful as she possibly can, so I encourage that,’ Stedman told The Oprah Show, as reported by The Oprah Magazine in May 2019.

jedward reveal they held their mothers hand in her final days

Jedward twins, John and Edward Grimes, have revealed how they played Fleetwood Mac and held their mother’s hand in her final days following a five-year cancer battle.

Their mother Susanna died in February 2019 and the 28-year-old twins described how they will ‘always keep her spirit alive’ on Saturday.

The Irish pop duo also described their heartbreak at the prospect of their late mother not meeting their children or attending their weddings.

Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show, Edward said: ‘We were there when she passed and we are thankful that we were there – we were able to hold her hand.

‘We had some earphones listening to some music. We listened to some Fleetwood Mac and some of her favourite songs that she liked to play.’

His brother John added: ‘It’s very disheartening to think that she won’t be at our weddings, she won’t be there at the birth of our kids, but we always keep her spirit alive like have pictures of her around and tell stories.’

‘You just feel so disconnected to the world because the person that kept you anchored in the world and gave birth to you is gone and now you don’t know where you should be, what you should be doing.’

The former X Factor stars performed a rendition of Everybody Hurts by R.E.M. dedicated to their mother.

Fans took to Twitter to share how they were ‘in tears’ following the tribute performance.

Speaking on Loose Women in April 2019, Edward said: ‘[The cancer] had been ongoing for the past five years, and I feel now mum has passed, it just feels so weird, because it’s all we’ve ever known. We want to call her and there’s no one there to call.

‘Her opinion meant everything to us, she was always there to support us. We haven’t really talking about it’s been really closed doors.’

The twins said it was comforting to them that they had one another to navigate their way through their grief.

John said: ‘That has been really, really good for me and Edward because we’re so open with each other, and were weren’t bottling it in.’

The boys paid tribute to Susanna in February, writing on Twitter: ‘Rest In Peace Mammy You live on through us We will miss you and your smile…

‘You shaped the character of who we are. Mammy lived with cancer for many years but was always full of life! You live on in our Memories and will always be alive in our Hearts’.

Tommy Fury demonstrated his match fitness as he became the latest guest on one of Mark Wright’s Instagram Live exercise sessions on Sunday morning.

The Love Island 2019 runner up, 21, joined Mark, 33, for an hour-long boxercise HIIT session, in which the two reality stars demonstrated boxing moves and exercises to thousands of their fans.

While professional boxer Tommy barely seemed to break a sweat, Mark quickly appeared out of breath.

At the halfway point, the TOWIE star confided: ‘I don’t know if I can get through another half,’ to which Tommy obliviously replied that he felt like he was ‘glowing’.

Tommy gave numerous exercise tips to his fans, demonstrating how best to carry out an array of jabs and undercuts, press ups and squats.

The two reality hunks appeared on separate screens due to logistical reasons – despite the fact that both were in fact exercising at other ends of the same field.

Amusingly at one point, Mark called across the field for Tommy to wave, and the myth of their separation was broken as it became clear they were just a few hundred metres away.

Despite Mark’s visible tiredness, both he and Tommy appeared in good shape.

They each sported tight-fitting grey exercise gear that emphasised their enviable physiques.

When asked as to when he might next be in a boxing bout, Tommy said: ‘I’m feeling in magnificent shape – and hopefully will have some fight news for you all soon.’

He later added: ‘I’m dedicating everything – I’m 21 years old, I’m living in camp, there’s no partying, there’s no drinking – I want to be a champ.’

For now though, he seemed pleased to help Mark out with his exercise business wrightfit.

He said: ‘It’s a pleasure being out today in the sun, motivating people, that’s what it’s all about.’

The comedian shared his first Instagram post with the model and even posted a funny video of her giving him a quarantine haircut earlier this year.

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Jack and Roxy are enjoying being in isolation together. It’s all very new but they’re in their own little bubble and things are perfect at the moment.

‘Being on lockdown in a honeymoon period is certainly one way to get to know each other quickly. But the more time they spend together the happier they seem.

‘Both have had their share of heartbreak and struggled a bit to find love. It’s time they had some luck.’

Roxy has a string of famous exes, having previously been linked to A-list actor Leonardo DiCaprio and singer Jake Bugg who she split from in December.

Jack has been linked to various women since calling it quits with actress Gemma Chan, 37, in December 2017 after six years together. She is now in a relationship with screen star Dominic Cooper.
