Pick fuchsia pink like Paloma Faith wearing Dries Van Noten

We love Paloma Faith and her eclectic sense of style!

She was pictured shooting a new music video in London wearing a statement pink taffeta dress coat, which she wore over a pair of gold shorts, adding a pair of chunky spike-embellished shoes for good measure.

If you think this striking pink design looks familiar, it’s because Little Women star Florence Pugh rocked it on the red carpet at the BAFTAs back in February!

It’s by Dries Van Noten, and we’re swooning over the puff sleeves, ruched edges and contrast black tie detailing. It’s sensational!

Unfortunately it’s no longer available, but click (right) to buy into the brand via NET-A-PORTER.

Or if you’re feeling inspired to add a pop of hot pink to your own wardrobe then look no further than the options in our edit below.

Last month, Paloma bravely spoke about her battle with postnatal depression and struggle to adapt to being a mother to her now three-year-old daughter.

In a candid interview, the British singer, revealed that she had expected to take to motherhood ‘like a duck to water’ but the reality was a rude awakening.

She told the Mirror: ‘And then I had my baby and lots of things went wrong and I was sadder than I’ve ever been before and I felt broken, largely by the disappointment that I wasn’t the mother that I thought I’d be.’

The Picking Up the Pieces singer revealed that it took time for a bond to develop with her child, who she conceived via IVF with her partner Leyman Lahcine.

The singer was so distressed that she began questioning whether she had given birth to another couple’s baby fearing a mix up at the IVF clinic.

Paloma said: ‘I started emailing doctors saying, ‘Is there any way you might have put the wrong embryo in me?’ But now you can see it, our child exactly looks like us.’

The star happily shared that she now shares a special connection with her toddler, who is ‘a bit obsessed’ with her famous mother.

The award-winning singer went on to say that the approval of strangers is a large part of being a musician, but that pales in comparison to the validation she gets from her daughter, whose name she has not disclosed.

Paloma recently refuted claims that she was raising her child as gender neutral in a interview with the Radio Times.

The star confirmed that she doesn’t encourage gender rigidity with toys or activities, allowing her daughter to be her own person.

She said: ‘I wanted her to develop into herself before the world decided who she was. I felt like a lioness. She makes me look at the world in a way I’ve neglected for a long time.’

He helped keep the nation fit during lockdown by hosting daily PE sessions from his London home and raised more than £500,000 for the NHS in the process.

And Joe Wicks celebrated entering a new chapter of his life as he marked his 35th birthday on Monday.

In a snap uploaded to Instagram, the Body Coach star appeared in great spirits as he posed in the garden of his home with his children Indie, two, and Marley, nine months, who he shares with his model wife Rosie Jones.

The YouTuber, who recently moved into a new home, wore a T-shirt and shorts as he knelt in front of gold age balloons.

‘I’m 35 today. Spending the day with my little family. Have a great day everyone❤️’, the online personality captioned the image.

Last month, the fitness instructor confirmed his hugely popular YouTube exercise sessions made a comeback.

Just months after retiring the charitable endeavour as lockdown restrictions eased, the father-of-two made a dramatic U-turn and opted to lead more sessions for fans.

Here we go again: Last month, the fitness instructor confirmed his hugely popular YouTube exercise sessions made a comeback after giving it up in June

He told followers: ‘That’s it I can’t leave it any longer. I’ve felt as flat as pancake since PE with Joe ended and the truth is I really miss it.

‘I miss the energy it gave me and the sense of purpose I had everyday. I miss the lean backs, the silly billy’s and all the happy faces taking part at home with me.

‘I’ve decided i’m coming back for another session. This Saturday morning I’ll be going LIVE for another workout at 9am on my YouTube channel. The first workout live from my new home.

‘Will you join in for the reunion? I cant wait to train with you again. Please share and tag friends in this post.’

Joe previously admitted he feels ‘lost’ and lacks ‘purpose’ after ending his lessons, which saw him become a national treasure.

He revealed he ‘had a few flat days’ ever since minimising the frequency of his workouts to three times a week.

Crediting exercise for helping him get through his rough patch, the exercise guru vowed to ‘regain my energy and get myself into a positive mindset’ as he updated fans in between a gruelling session at his home gym.

The media personality told fellow social media users: ‘So I’m half way through my workout, I can’t explain how much better I feel emotionally and mentally.

‘I’ve been having a flat few days. I was thinking about P.E. with Joe and the whole impact of what that was doing.’

Detailing the difference between his mindset when he tutored the world from his living room in Richmond and now, the Epsom native added: ‘I had so much purpose.

‘I was driven and focused and I knew what I was doing – making people feel good. That’s when I’m at my happiest.

felicity kendal 73 becomes first celebrity to appear in the studio for lorraine

Felicity Kendal became the first celebrity to come into the studio on Lorraine, as she made an appearance during Monday’s edition of the show.

The actress, 73, showed off her mask to begin with as host Lorraine Kelly admitted the crew had done ‘all the preparations’ to make sure it was safe for her to come in.

Felicity was on hand to discuss her new show with Blue Cross, and said she was delighted to be in the studio as she said: ‘It’s so lovely talking to you not on Zoom.’

The actress joked that she was ‘covered in sanitiser’ during her appearance, as she kept her mask on her because she wasn’t allowed to put it on any surfaces without it being sanitised itself.

Felicity also went on to speak about plastic surgery, Lorraine said she considered getting botox because of how well the actress looked with the procedure as she claimed: ‘You only need a little bit very rarely.’

However, Felicity was clear that exercise was also a reason for her youthful features, as she added: ‘I do yoga and weight, that’s really important because bones get weak and crumbly.

‘Yoga, stretching, and walking, all [things] you can do outside you don’t need a gym membership.’

Lorraine was taken off the air in March amid the coronavirus crisis, and the host took part in Good Morning Britain until July.

Since returning to her studio, Lorraine has spoken to celebrity guests via video link, and has rarely had fellow presenters appear on the show with her.

During her summer break, Christine Lampard and Andi Peters filled in her seat while she was away until earlier this month.

Last year Miss Kendal, who played Barbara Good in 1970s sitcom The Good Life, revealed to Sunday Times magazine that she is a fan of Botox. ‘I do it every six months, then you don’t get the terrible little frown line.’

However the grandmother-of-two recently revealed she has given up Botox and instead relies on yoga, pilates and weightlifting to stay youthful.

She told Good Housekeeping magazine: ‘There comes a point where you have to match bits of you with the other bits.’

While she’s never had a face-lift, the actress has had fillers around her mouth.

Felicity explained: ‘Then there was a time when you’d think, I’m over 60, I can’t possibly wear a short skirt again because of my crinkly knees.

‘Then you come out the other end and say, f*** it, I’ve got good legs, I’m going to put on tights and a short skirt.’

Felicity became a beloved household name starring in The Good Life, despite running for just 30 episodes over four series.

Slip into satin like Julia wearing Chanel

This year’s Emmy Awards may have been a virtual affair, but that didn’t stop Julia Garner from digging out her finest attire.

With the help of stylist to the stars Elizabeth Saltzman, the actress looked phenomenal in a full Chanel look.

Comprising a silky satin top and wide leg trousers, completed with lashings of pearls, her outfit won serious style points.

A slinky vest like Julia’s would make a welcome addition to any wardrobe as it could be worn day or night. We think hers would look great with high-waisted jeans and heels!

‘Let’s try to make this world better,’ she said. ‘There will be light at the end of the tunnel.’

She opened up to the outlet Gold Derby in 2019 about how the nuanced nature of the character appealed to her.

‘The thing with Ruth is she’s so complex and I think that’s what I love so much about this character and why I wanted to play her, how complex she was. That was one of the reasons why I wanted to play Ruth.

She credited the show’s writing staff for being ‘good at planning things out … and making the characters evolve, in a way.

‘I feel like great writing or great acting and great art, is it’s not characters, it’s the person,’ she said. ‘People evolve and people change and just like Ruth. Ruth is going to evolve, just like all the other characters.’

Sunday’s show marked a socially distant event amid the ongoing COVID-19 virus, with most participants appearing via remote. In July, the show was moved to be held virtually with the pandemic continuing.
