Season five of the hit Foxtel series was expected to resume filming in July.

The fourth season of The Real Housewives of Melbourne finished airing in February 2018.

They were replaced by former CNN news anchor Anjali Rao, yoga teacher Cherry Dipietrantonio and ‘champagne educator’ Kyla Kirkpatrick.

The trio had started filming their backstories for season five earlier this year, before production was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In May, Gamble seemed optimistic that filming would resume despite the COVID-19 outbreak.

Speaking to the Herald Sun, she shared a few bizarre suggestions to kickstart the process and even offered up her backyard to assist with social distancing.

‘We will be fine. We’ve all been isolating in Melbourne, so I think if we stay in small numbers, things will be okay,’ Gamble said.

Helpful suggestions: In May, Gamble seemed optimistic the new season would go ahead, telling the Herald Sun she had offered her backyard for garden parties or thought they could film episodes in 'space suits or go diving' to help with social distancing requirements (Pictured with Kyla Kirkpatrick)

She added: ‘I’ve already thought of ideas to keep our social distance while we’re filming. I’m suggesting we do an episode in space suits, or go diving.’

Gamble also suggested hosting her co-stars in her garden for a party.

‘I’ve got a garden, and there’s plenty of room, so the film crew can be there, and the girls can be out in the sunshine, all keeping a social distance,’ she said.

‘Cause there were two dates going on, so I think obviously that Connagh G, he was doing a date at the same time.

‘So with the way the cameras and the recording is, they would shoot sort of like one date whilst you had to sort of sit in silence because obviously they could only capture one date.

‘So like my first meeting with Paige, we just sort of sat in silence. Staring at each other. Like we were just sat there and I was like trying to like graft Paige, but I couldn’t. I was just stood there. I was sat there. I was just like in silence.

‘So we just, we just sat. Yeah, I was, I was. I was like, what do I say to her? What do I compliment? Compliment this and I’ll do that.

‘And then obviously that just – and then they sort of say, “Right, Finn and Paige, so now it’s your date,” and then you go.’

After his ‘weird’ first date, the reality star admitted he was ‘overwhelmed’ with all of the cameras when he first entered the villa, but eventually it became ‘like you’re on holiday really. You just forget all the cameras are there.’

Talking about his behaviour in Casa Amor and the Headline Challenge which followed, claiming his ‘head had been turned’ Finn said: ‘I thought I’d done really well in there.

‘And then when the headline come out that apparently my head had turned, I was like, what? Like, what’s been shown?

‘Like, if they actually copied and pasted some bits like, I was like, how have they got this?’

The reality star admitted he was furious about how it was edited to make him look, saying: ‘If I’m honest, I had a few little tiffs with the producers just because I was angry.’

Explaining how he compared his headline to Luke T’s whose was about ‘his mum being happy for him,’ he continued: ‘And then obviously as the challenge went on, I was thinking, right, so what is my one gonna be like?

‘And then it was like I thought what? And I said to the producer, I said, “This is…” Yeah, I wasn’t happy. I wasn’t happy.

‘They didn’t really say too much. I was just like, “You know what I was like in there. Like how did you…” And they were just like, “Oh, well, obviously it’s just like the headlines and da, da, da.”

‘I was like, but, yeah, it was a shame because that could have like, it could have affected me and Paige that could have, you know? But it didn’t luckily and luckily Paige soon sort of found out.’

Lucky indeed : The couple went on to win the show and recently moved in together in Manchester after spending three months living with Paige’s parents during lockdown.

Close call! 'It could have affected me and Paige that could have, you know? But it didn't luckily and luckily Paige soon sort of found out' explained Finley

She has been with French artist Leyman Lahcine for seven years.

But Paloma Faith has revealed she often fantasises about having an open relationship with him.

She told The Sun: ‘I’ve never tried but I’ve always fantasised about it and I think that if I could have an open relationship where only I was allowed, it would be perfect.’

The kooky songstress also revealed that she once performed a sex act on the street in Spain.

She admitted: ‘I was 22. It wasn’t full-on but it was… well, basically I was naked in the street doing this in Spain.

‘It was like full-on foreplay but I was definitely naked in the street in Spain and I remember this moment when this old lady walked past on a zimmer frame. I thought it was quite hot.’

The St Trinian’s actress was previously married to New Zealand chef Rian Haynes from 2005 but they got divorced four years later.

It comes after Paloma revealed that her three-year-old child is a girl – although she is raising her gender neutral.

The musician referred to her child with female pronouns throughout as she spoke candidly to author Giovanna Fletcher, 35, on the new series of her Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast this week.

In the poignant chat, Paloma reflected on falling pregnant by accident in her youth, compared with her struggle to conceive now that she is in her late 30s.

Paloma said: ‘In the past I’d been very fertile and I’d had moments when I was too young to have a baby where I’d chosen not to have it.

‘And I felt very fertile. And when I met my partner I felt very different with him than I felt with most people.’

Paloma went on to welcome her daughter – whose name she has not disclosed – in December 2016, and has since tried to have more children with artist Leyman, 33.

She said: ‘Last year I was trying again and it was strange because once my daughter turned 18 months I suddenly was like, I want another one.

‘This is the best. Then I had a miscarriage and it’s sort of an ongoing thing. It’s tense. It’s not very sexy.

‘I have a scar that isn’t healing properly from my caesarian so it’s creating a bit of a toxic atmosphere which is also quite hard.’

Paloma also admitted she felt ‘depleted and depressed’ while at home with her daughter but became invigorated when she began working again.

Speaking about life as a working mum, the singer and actress said: ‘I have so much respect for the women who stay at home, I just don’t know how they do it. Because, it’s harder. It’s harder than going to work.’

On the importance of having space away from your child, Paloma said: ‘I think it took a year before I felt like my baby and I could be two people. I felt like I gave myself away for a year and I didn’t enjoy giving myself away.’
