She wrote on Instagram: ‘Has anyone else packed on a few pounds in lockdown? I’ve put on over half a stone and can’t for the life of me get motivated to go to the gym.

‘But putting my gym gear on is a step in the right direction right?

‘I wish I was one of those people that enjoys working out and running etc… I just like eating and laying down too much.’

The glamour model is married to former Coronation Street actor Oliver Mellor and the couple have been enduring gruelling IVF for 20 months.

After discovering that she wouldn’t be able to conceive naturally, they went through two rounds of IVF and are planning their third.

Throughout the process, experts recommended she stopped using all cosmetic products that contain hash chemicals or additives, which is when she decided to go tan-free for over 12 months.

Emma Willis shared snaps of herself celebrating Halloween in fun-filled style on Friday, when she took her three children to visit a pumpkin patch.

However, the 44-year-old TV host’s efforts proved a little more testing than she likely expected, as the family arrived to find the area completely stripped of pumpkins.

Taking to Instagram, the stunning broadcaster shared a snap of herself standing in the middle of an empty field, adding the caption: ‘And when she got there, the pumpkin patch was bare…’

After conceding that she ‘maybe should have gone earlier’, the star later shared another image declaring that she’d successfully sourced the winter squash.

Sharing a snap of her husband Matt Willis, 37, victoriously holding a pumpkin aloft, she also showed her four ‘pumpkins’ – Isabelle, 11, Ace, eight, and Trixie, four – as as well – walking through the muddy field.

Emma’s outing comes after she addressed the conversation that was sparked about her son Ace, after she shared a snap of him wearing a pink top and sporting long blond hair.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain earlier this month, the presenter said she was ‘overwhelmed’ by the reaction, sweetly saying: ‘He’s just my son in a pink top.’

She continued: ‘For me that’s normality. He loves colour, he’s always had long hair, he’s a free and able-minded boy.

‘He’s like, ” why do I have to dress in green and blue and grey, when I love red and pink and purple?” He’s always been that way.’

She continued: ‘We’re trying to raise him as an open-minded, inclusive individual. There were some negative bits, but that’s where the block button is great!’

Emma had appeared on the show to talk about her new charity initiative, Be My Guest in which fans pay £5 and can win a call with a host of celebs.

Keep cosy in a Next roll neck like Emma

Emma Willis always looks chic, so it just makes sense that she was given the opportunity to create her own clothing collection with high street brand Next.

We spotted the TV star wearing some of her pieces as she stepped out with her family this week.

Emma opted for a dreamy tan roll neck jumper from her collection, which she paired with a matching coat, flare trousers and chunky boots.

Now that winter is here, it’s all about layering up in style and this jumper ticks all the right boxes. It features a high neckline, with elegant long sleeves and a super soft cashmere touch.

Emma and her husband Matt, 37, are very private with their family life and keep the faces of their kids Isabelle, 11, Ace, and Trixie, four hidden in any social media posts.

In the image of Ace posted by his mum Emma, his face was masked by a mass of long blond hair, as the Big Brother host gushed over his fashion choices.

She captioned the image: ‘My little style icon ❤️ (Ace, not Matt )’, referencing the fact her husband of 12 years was stood in the background of the photo.

Fans praised the presenter for posting the photo, with one saying: ‘Just shows how far we have to go in breaking down gender stereotypes. Pink is simply a colour. Hair grows. Let kids (or adults) wear whatever they want!’

She recently opened up about how she will never take her age for granted.

And Nigella Lawson appeared in high spirits as she headed to a television filming studio with a spring in her step on Saturday afternoon in London.

The TV chef, 50, cut a chic figure in a red checked shirt which she wore underneath a black wrap jacket and a pair of black skinny jeans.

She styled her glamorous daytime look with a pair of knee-high black suede boots, which added inches to her frame.

Nigella wore her brunette locks in loose glamorous curls and sported light touches of make-up, including mascara and dark liner.

The TV personality carried her belongings in a tote bag slung over her shoulder.

Earlier this week, Nigella revealed she never saw herself reaching 60 after witnessing the deaths of multiple family members under the age of 50.

She said she will never take her age for granted after watching those around her die young; her mother at 48, her sister aged 32 and then her late husband John Diamond at 47.

Speaking in Good Housekeeping magazine’s December issue, the television chef said: ‘I’m not a planner – apart from when it comes to food! But to be completely honest, I’ve never been able to take for granted that I’d be alive by this age.

‘My mother died at 48 and my sister at 32. And then John [Diamond, her late husband] at 47.

‘So, even if I were the sort of person who planned ahead, I don’t think I would have seen myself here… I kind of think you can’t do anything about it [ageing] so why complain?’

She admitted going through the trauma of losing those close to her has changed her entire attitude towards the ageing process.

Nigella explained: ‘I also know what the alternative is, so it feels wrong when you’ve been surrounded by people who have died young to say “My hair’s awful, I’ve got to get my roots done” or “My hands look like lizards”.

‘So I don’t dwell on it. As long as you’re healthy, that really is the most important thing.’

Director Edgar Wright also paid tribute to Connery, sharing a lengthy tribute which began: ‘It says something for the extraordinary charisma of this Edinburgh lad to have created the most iconic character in film & then, rather than be typecast by it, become equally famous for just being Sean Connery. A real screen legend; oft imitated (by all!) but never equalled.

‘Though all of his Bond instalments are fun and two are among my favs of the series (From Russia With Love & Goldfinger), here are some non Bond Connery films I dearly love; Hell Drivers (a supporting role, but a badass flick), The Frightened City (clearly a dry run for Bond)

‘Hitchcock’s Marnie, Sidney Lumet’s The Hill, The Anderson Tapes & The Offence, the bonkers Zardoz, John Huston’s rollicking The Man Who Would Be King, Richard Lester’s elegiac Robin & Marian, his cameo in Time Bandits, but let’s not forget of course his amazing last act…

‘From charming immortal Ramirez to Henry Jones Sr, from being the rock in the centre of the best Michael Bay film to his incredible Oscar winning turn as Malone in The Untouchables, Sean Connery had a hell of a run. Have a vodka martini & a dram of whiskey for him tonight.’

Bond producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli paid tribute to Sir Sean in a statement: ‘We are devastated by the news of the passing of Sir Connery.

‘He was and shall always be remembered as the original James Bond whose indelible entrance into cinema history began when he announced those unforgettable words – ‘The name’s Bond… James Bond’ – he revolutionised the world with his gritty and witty portrayal of the sexy and charismatic secret agent.

‘He is undoubtedly largely responsible for the success of the film series and we shall be forever grateful to him.’
