Her friend and co-star on the Disney Channel original series Jessie, Cameron Boyce, unexpectedly passed away last year at the age of 20.

And Skai Jackson performed an emotional Foxtrot with pro partner Alan Bersten, 26,  in dedication to the late actor on Monday night’s episode of Dancing With The Stars

The stunning performance earned the 18-year-old starlet the season’s very first score of 10.

In a clip taken during rehearsals, Skai explained to Alan why she wanted to pay tribute to Cameron’s life.

‘I want this dance to be dedicated to Cameron, who was a really close friend of mine and co-star,’ she began.

‘He was in my life for half of my life, which was crazy. We built up this bond for years and years and years.’

Jackson and Boyce were co-stars on the hit series Jessie from its premiere in 2011 to its finale in 2015.

As she elaborated on the ways Cameron impacted her life, Skai could not help but breakdown in tears.

‘He molded me into the person I am now. Of course I miss him every day, but I have him on my phone case so I get to see him,’ said a teary-eyed Jackson.

She then retrieved her iPhone and showed her phone case to Alan, which featured a photo of Cameron hugging Skai on the set of Jessie.

Skai continued: ‘It’s sad he’s not here to see it … I know that he would be really proud of me. He loved Dancing With the Stars and dancing.’

Cameron Dallas unexpectedly passed away on July 6 of 2019 due to complications caused by ‘an ongoing medical condition,’ as reported by ABC.

‘It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron. He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated,’ a rep for the Boyce family said following Cameron’s death.

Skai and Alan’s awe-inspiring Foxtrot, which was set to the tune of John Legend’s hit song Ordinary People, instantly wowed the judges.

The pair earned scores of nine from judges Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli, while judge Carrie Ann Inaba handed them the first 10 of the entire season.

Not only were they awarded the first 10, but Skai and Alan also earned an overall score of 28, which happens to be the highest score of the season thus far.

Despite so many highs, Monday night’s episode of Dancing With The Stars also happened to feature some of the season’s biggest lows.

Host Tyra Banks made a horrifying gaffe sending contestant Monica Aldama off as ‘safe’ during voting, only to realize she was in the bottom two.

The 46-year-old model then had to call the Cheer star, 50, and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy, 34, back to the stage, begging, ‘Please come back. Please have Monica come back. There’s been an error in our control room, but we’re making it happen.’

‘I’m so sorry,’ Tyra told Monica and Val as they walked back out. ‘This is live TV. I was reading my cards, but my cards were wrong.’

The confusion reached a crescendo at the end of the two-hour episode as Tyra relayed the results of viewer voting and stated who was safe and those in jeopardy.

After the creator of America’s Next Top Model told the rapper Nelly, 45, he made it through, she faced Chrishell Stause, 39, Anne Heche, 51, and Vernon Davis, 36, onstage.

Tyra then skipped completely past Chrishell and said that Nelly’s departure meant Anne and Vernon had the least amount of votes.

Seconds later, she realized her mistake, saying, ‘There’s actually been an error. I’m looking right now, and we have three couples. So we need to clarify this for a second.’

That’s when she had to bring back Monica, which she did with a cry of, ‘We’re all human.’

Monica was saved from elimination by judges Carrie Ann Inaba, 52, and Derek Hough, 36, while Anne and her partner Keo Motsepe, 30, were sent home.

lorde is seen for the first time in eighteen months as she kisses her boyfriend justin warren

Kiwi singer Lorde showed off her slimmed-down frame during a rare outing with her boyfriend Justin Warren in her home city of Auckland on Monday.

The last time the star, 23 and her Universal Music Promotions Director beau, 35, were pictured together was in March 2019.

And the lovebirds proved they were still going strong as they shared a passionate kiss before walking hand-in-hand along the waterfront.

Lorde – whose real name is Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor – nailed her off-duty style in a bodycon floral midi-dress which accentuated her newly slimline figure.

A blue shirt was tied around her waist, and she opted for maximum comfort with a pair of trendy trainers.

Making the most of the glorious spring sunshine, the Royals hitmaker added a pair of shades to her look.

The besotted star lovingly intertwined her arm with her record executive beau.

The pair were engulfed in conversation as they strolled along leisurely before stopping to share a kiss.

The happy couple’s sighting comes a year and a half after they were spotted homeware shopping during their last public sighting together.

Lorde and Justin were first photographed frolicking on the beach together in 2016, but at the time Justin dismissed rumours they were dating.

He told the New Zealand Herald: ‘Ella and I have worked together for years and we’re good friends. Any rumours of us being “a pair” are ridiculous.’

But in the years since, they have toured the world together and Justin has even been spotted near the star’s AUD$2.8million villa.

Lorde, who is known for her friendship with Taylor Swift, split with her former boyfriend James Lowe at the end of 2015.

She told Stellar magazine in June 2017 that the break-up took her to some ‘crazy places’ and she resorted to ‘self-medicating’.

She added: ‘There was an element of escapism and exploration and wanting to be myself in strange situations. After a break-up, you go to these crazy place.’

In 2018, the songwriter was forced to deny rumours that she was dating Lena Dunham’s ex Jack Antonoff after the pair were seen hugging.

Lorde found international fame at just 16 years old when her single Royals became a worldwide No. 1 hit.

Her sophomore 2017 album Melodrama was reviewed as one of the decade’s best pop albums.

The death of her beloved pet dog Pearl last October slowed down the roll-out of her forthcoming third album.

The following month, she wrote a note to her millions of fans asking for patience as her third album had been delayed due to the death of her dog, Pearl, who ‘brought an immeasurable amount of joy and purpose into my world’.

Sunrise host David ‘Kochie’ Koch LOSES IT over Schapelle Corby gaffe

sunrise host david kochie koch loses it over schapelle corby gaffe

She spent nine years of her life in prison in Bali, so you’d expect Schapelle Corby to have a few gaps in her pop culture knowledge.

And during her interview on Sunrise last week, the convicted drug smuggler raised eyebrows when she mispronounced the name of host David ‘Kochie’ Koch.

Reflecting on the gaffe on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday, Kochie, 64, laughed off the moment Schapelle, 43, called him ‘Kot-chee’ instead of ‘Kosh-ee’.

‘Yeah, I think that sort of summed her up,’ Kochie said of the gaffe. ‘I don’t think I’ve ever heard her speak before that interview, so it was an eye opener.’

Schapelle’s mispronunciation came just 30 seconds into her interview on Sunrise. She was on the show to promote her appearance on Channel Seven’s SAS Australia.

‘She sounds like she’s a little girl… because she is quite fragile,’ noted radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

‘Very, very sweet. I feel for what she’s been through,’ she added.

‘She, you know, obviously had mental illness when she was in prison but we laughed when she said Kot-chee because we thought, “Doesn’t everybody know it’s Kosh-ee?”

While Jackie though the moment was quite said, she also said it was ‘so cute’.

Later, Kochie ranked some of his most memorable celebrity interviews over the years, on a scale of one to ten.

When asked about meeting Justin Bieber a decade ago, the breakfast TV star said: ‘He’s a three! He was just a brat, well he was back then. [He was] Just a bit of a diva.

‘One of our floor managers was positioning him for a song and gently said, “This is where you stand,” and he said, “Don’t you dare touch me!”‘

‘But by the looks of it, he’s sort of grown up and matured and is quite a good boy now,’ Kochie added.

He then gushed over American pop star Katy Perry, saying: ‘She’s bright, talented, quick-witted and effervescent. She did the weather better than our weather guy does. I’d definitely rank her an eight or nine!’

Jackie O responded: ‘I have to agree with you on Katy Perry. In the whole time that we’ve known her, from the very beginning of her career to now, she’s never changed and has always been an absolute darling.’

She rose to fame after appearing as the villain on this year’s season of Big Brother Australia.

And now Angela Clancy has her eyes set on hosting Channel Seven’s upcoming reboot of Australian Idol.

‘I want to be the next Andrew G,’ the 37-year-old said on Wednesday speaking to Daily Mail Australia.

‘I would love to host a talent show like Australian Idol,’ she added.

While most reality stars run at the first job offer they get, Angela explained she is waiting for the right opportunity to return to television.

‘I would never do I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ she said, not clarifying whether she had been offered a role.

‘I don’t do wet conditions, jumping out of planes? Who does that? No thank you.’

Angela added that ‘no amount of money’ would convince her to do the show.

‘I like my comforts, even thinking about that show. I couldn’t do. Anything outdoors, with little animals and parasites and snakes, Arghh.. I can’t do,’ she mused.

Back in September, Angela said she had a dream that she was back on Big Brother – and hoped it would come true.

The dream also featured the glamazon surrounded by the cast of Home And Away – and Angela made a pitch to the show to consider her.

‘I had a dream that I went back to Big Brother and I was with the cast of Home And Away. People might think that’s crazy, but you know what, now that I’m in isolation, why not?’ she said at the time.

‘I decided today, I am just going to spend the day in my Big Brother outfit. Because you never know. You could see me on Home And Away.’
