Rowan Blanchard was ready to celebrate her 19th birthday on Wednesday as she stepped out in New York City.

The former Disney star was spotted hanging out with one of her girlfriends in the afternoon while getting a caffeine pick-me-up with coffees.

The activist and actress tried to stay warm on the cool day with a thick brown hooded jacket, but she rocked a playful white crop top underneath.

Rowan’s button-up top was tied off at the bottom to reveal a hint of her taut midriff, and her sheer ribbed bra was also partly exposed.

She added a splash of color to her look with flared pants with kaleidoscopic blue and pink designs and risqué spiderwebbing cutouts above her thighs.

The 5ft5in Wrinkle In Time actress also wore casual black boots and styled her raven tresses in a messy bob.

Rowan spent the day with one of her female friends, who was dressed more casually in a gray sweatshirt with black pants and red and white Nikes.

Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and recent spikes of COVID-19 cases in New York City, Rowan didn’t bother to wear a mask while outdoors, though her friend did.

The actress’ first big roles came in 2010 when she starred in the Disney Channel series Dance-a-Lot Robot, and she followed it with her lead role in Spy Kids: All The Time In The World, the fourth and final entry in the series.

In 2014, she played the lead role in the Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World series, which was a continuation of the ABC show Boy Meets World.

The series ended after three seasons, reportedly because Rowan and her costars were beginning to age out of the Disney Channel’s target demographic.

The actress seems to have teed up her next big role, as she’ll be a series regular on the second season of TNT’s Snowpiercer series when it returns in late January of 2021.

The series is a reboot of the critically acclaimed 2013 dystopian film of the same name starring Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton and directed by future Oscar winner Bong Joon-ho.

Rowan was introduced in the season one finale as Alexandra Cavill, the long-lost daughter of Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly).

Her character was originally believed to have died in a global disaster seven years earlier that turned the Earth into a frozen wasteland, though she’ll now be a main cast member in season two.

Next big role: She appeared in the season one finale of TNT's Snowpiercer, and she's been bumped up to the main cast for season two; still from Snowpiercer with (L-R) Jennifer Connelly, Mike O'Malley and Daveed Diggs

He famously played gawky young wizard Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter film series, before sending fans wild with his hunky transformation years later.

And Matthew Lewis, 31, proved he’s still looking as handsome as ever after surfacing on Australian television for an interview with Nine’s Today Extra on Wednesday.

The British actor looked worlds away from his days playing buck-toothed Neville as he chatted to hosts David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffreys via video link.

During the interview, Matthew discussed what it was like to grow up playing Neville, and how he was forced to wear false teeth and a fat suit to make himself appear uglier in the later Harry Potter films.

‘I didn’t wear anything [prosthetic] in the first couple of films. And then I think I came back from, like a growth spurt in film three and [the producers] said, “Okay, we’ll have to do something about this.”‘

‘And that’s when they came up with the idea of the false teeth and bits of plastic to stick my ears out and a fat suit I had to wear for several years,’ he added.

Matthew also revealed he was still close friends with his former castmates, after the last Harry Potter film was released nine years ago.

While there has been no official word about a cast reunion, Matthew said that he and his co-stars would be very interested in participating.

‘I’m almost certain that if the question was posed to anyone, we’d be very, very interested in the idea,’ he said.

On Tuesday, the Kind Life founder Alicia Silverstone walked her two nine-year-old rescue dogs Dixon and Tiny – who, like her, have a strict vegan diet – near the $597K four-bedroom Hollywood Hills home she bought back in 1996.

The 44-year-old Golden Globe nominee did not protect herself and others from the coronavirus by wearing a mask or face covering, which Governor Gavin Newsom made mandatory for all public outings on June 18.

As of Tuesday, there have been over 289K confirmed COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles leading to 6,877 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.

Alicia just penned a blog on her website this month about how having a plant-based diet can allegedly prevent coming down with the fast-spreading pandemic.

‘Why are we afraid that we may die from SARsCoV2 virus, but not from the death that may comes from poor food choices? The number of deaths from cancers and cardiovascular disease are staggering,’ Silverstone wrote.

‘During this pandemic everyone says, with such sincerity, that they are quarantining and wearing masks to protect the vulnerable, and yet this promise seems forgotten when the evening steak or burger or coke or milkshake are plunked down on the table.

‘How can we make people care about themselves and others, and do this all the time so disasters and disease are minimized?’

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the movie Clueless, costume designer Mona May spoke with Tatler about how she keeps in touch with Alicia.

‘We’re still close friends, she texts me pictures of things she might wear on red carpets,’ May told the mag this month.

‘She was a young ingenue, she had been in one or two music videos and she didn’t have a lot of experience with film. She was already then, at 18, an activist. She would come in in her sweats with her dogs and she really had to learn about high fashion and designer clothes and how to become that character.’

the shocking moment cricketer david warner farts into a microphone

Australian cricketer David Warner is known for his cheeky sense of humour on TikTok, where he often dresses up as Bollywood heroes.

And just days before his 34th birthday, the sportsman had a laugh while being interviewed during the Indian Premier League in the United Arab Emirates.

He caused a stir by farting loudly into a microphone during an interview, which went viral after being shared by comedy Instagram account Kick On Cameron.

As a sports journalist asked a question about the IPL, David had other ideas.

He put the microphone to his behind and passed wind, before waiting for a reaction.

The trio of men burst out laughing, then David pointed to the cameraman, who also chuckled at his outrageous antics.

David appeared to topple over while laughing as he momentarily lost concentration.

The father of three is currently playing in the Indian Premier League, which is taking place in the United Arab Emirates.

It’s not the first time the fearless cricketer has shown off his softer side.

David proved himself to be a committed family man last month as he gushed over his wife, Candice Warner, on Instagram.

He shared a throwback photo from their wedding and said he was ‘lucky’ to have the 35-year-old former Ironwoman as his wife.

‘When time flies, you sometimes forget to reflect on how lucky we are, especially when you look back at memories,’ he wrote.

David explained that ‘six years and three children later’ he still likes to reminisce about all the reasons why he married his ‘soulmate and best friend’.

And while he acknowledged the couple had experienced their fair share of ‘ups and downs’ over the years, he said he’d always be ‘grateful’ to have Candice by his side.

It has been a difficult few years for the Warners, who welcomed their third child, Isla Rose, in July last year, after Candice suffered two miscarriages in 15 months.

David also found himself at the centre of the Cricket Australia ball-tampering scandal in Cape Town in March 2018.

David, former Australian captain Steve Smith and player Cameron Bancroft were slapped with bans for conspiring to cheat against South Africa by rubbing the ball with sandpaper.

The Warners were married in 2015 at Terrara House Estate winery, on the southern coast of New South Wales.
