the walking dead will expand season ten by six episodes as the upcoming season is delayed

The Walking Dead’s highly-anticipated 11th season will be delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus global pandemic.

While the long-running AMC drama will not return with a new season in October, the series’ showrunner Angela Kang revealed six additional episodes are being added to the previous season, during Friday’s virtual Comic-Con@Home panel.

‘Obviously, COVID has kind of disrupted a lot of things for every workplace, including ours,’ Kang explained.

Season ten’s delayed finale will air on October 4, after it was initially scheduled for an April release.

Immediately after, the premiere of the two-season event spinoff, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, will air.

In accordance to social distancing recommendations, the television writer noted that the writers’ room has been taking place remotely, but stayed tight-lipped about season ten’s extra episodes, which will air in early 2021, ‘if all goes well.’

For the extension to the finale, Kang said producers don’t know when shooting will be able to safely resume, amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

‘Sometimes, the limits placed on you lead to a lot of creativity,’ she added. ‘It’s important to us that everybody feels comfortable when shooting and safe when they do it. If that means changing things up a little bit, that’s not a huge burden to us.’

Meanwhile, AMC dropped an extended clip of the opening minutes of the delayed finale, which features Beta (Ryan Hurst) leading a number of walkers against the Alexandrians, who have hunkered down in an abandoned hospital.

While the situation looks grim, the episode also marks the return of Maggie (Lauren Cohan), who left in season nine.

The good news continued on Friday for fans of the zombie apocalypse series, as its spin-off, Fear The Walking Dead, announced the sixth season will debut on October 11.

The network first announced it had pushed the premiere date to ‘later this year’,  after the series was initially slated to debut on April 12, 2020.

Filming had already wrapped, but post-production on the last few episodes were impacted by companies closed as a result of the coronavirus.

Ferne McCann compared her illusive sister Sophie to Aimee Osbourne on Thursday as they enjoyed a wine-tasting session.

The former TOWIE star, 30, took to Instagram to share a rare snap with her sibling and joked ‘lots of people don’t know I have a sister’.

Ferne made a reference to Aimee, 36, who earlier this month spoke about why she decided to not be a part of the MTV reality show, The Osbournes, meaning many didn’t know Ozzy and Sharon had a third child.

Ferne looked gorgeous in a white shirt dress which showed off her toned stomach and black bra underneath, while Sophie cut a stylish figure in a broderie anglaise top and shorts.

Joined by their mum Gilly, Ferne wrote: ‘So blessed to have to @srwellnessuk aka (Amy Osbourne) lots of people wouldn’t know I even have a sister but she is my rock.

‘We run two businesses together & she is an amazing Auntie to my Miss Sunday. Having THE best day at @tuffonhallwine sipping on English Sparkling Wine & enjoying life. #grateful #blessed #happiness #eternallygrateful’.

Earlier this month, Aimee, the oldest of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s three children, explained why she refused to be part of the TV show The Osbournes and even moved out of the family home at 16 in order to avoid it.

The musician, now 36, explained in an interview on New York’s Q104.3 Classic Rock station that she hadn’t wanted to be ‘typecast’ at such a young age and also valued her privacy.

Aimee said: ‘For me, I had grown up around having a pretty well-known dad anyway, and … I always really valued my privacy within that family.

‘For me personally, and for who I am, you know, as far as morally and also just to give myself a chance to actually develop into a human being as opposed to just being remembered for being a teenager, it didn’t really line up with what I saw my future as.’

The Osbournes debuted on MTV in 2002 and ran for four seasons ending in March 2005.

The show reinvigorated Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy’s career and launched his wife and manager Sharon as a major TV personality in the US and UK, leading to jobs on CBS The Talk and the UK’s X Factor.

Daughter Kelly, 35, has also gone on to enjoy a career as a TV personality while son Jack, 34, is also a media personality.

Tallulah Willis shared another pinup photo to Instagram this week.

The 26-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, who has launched a fashion line, looked slender in a green string bikini as she stood in a stream on the estate of her mother’s Idaho home.

The caption read ‘later gator’ as her mother Demi and stepmom Emma Willis ‘liked’ the post.

The star’s two piece had a throwback feel as it had a bra top with underwire and thin straps that looked like something Marilyn Monroe would wear in the 1950s.

Willis added briefs that rode up high on her hips making her long legs appear even longer.

She reclined on a large rock as she crossed her legs while ankle deep in the water.

Last week the budding star took to Instagram to show off her pinup bikini body in a red and black floral two piece that proved she is staying very slender these days.

The fashion designer stuck out her tongue and then also posed with her boyfriend Dillon Buss by her side as she wrote, ‘Yr favorite aunt and uncle.’

Tallulah had her hair pulled back with a headband as she went light on the makeup.

The sister of Rumer Willis flaunted a deep summer tan as she flashed long, manicured nails.

The star was on the grounds of her mother Demi’s estate in Idaho which is surrounded by a lush lawn and a steam with mature trees everywhere.

In a new Instagram video, the star was in pink sweats as she was seen playing with six small dogs on the lawn.

This comes after she said on Monday she had was ready to ‘succumb to her spiral’ on before film director Dillon surprised her ‘with a picnic basket’ of her ‘favourite snacks and drinkies’.

Tallulah explained how she had body dysmorphia, obsessive compulsive disorder and disassociation outbursts ‘bubblin about’ and said to her partner that she needed ‘some alone time’.

'I needed some alone time': She shared this image with the note: 'Was having a hideous day - bdd/ocd/disassociation flare ups bubblin about. Wanted to curl under the sheets and succumb to my spiral'

After giving his other-half some space, Dillon, a film director and photographer, returned with a selection of her favourite treats for an al fresco dinner in a wicker basket.

Los Angeles-born Tallulah looked radiant as she posed on a picnic blanket in coral halterneck bikini showcasing her long limbs and sun-kissed complexion.

Tallulah tucked her cropped dark locks behind her ears and smiled for the camera in 90s-style shades surrounded by her two dogs, Cowboy and Tooch.

The entrepreneur appeared relaxed as she leaned back on the blankets under the shade of a tree with an idyllic stream flowing past.

‘Wanted to curl under the sheets and succumb to my spiral. I texted my partner I was having an off day and needed some alone time, he told me he understood and was here to hold whatever space he could.

‘Forty minutes later, the door creaked open and there he was with a picnic basket carrying my favorite snacks and drinkies.’

‘We sat outside and talked about our first kisses. I felt today, the word ‘grateful’ become unspooled and reframed.’

She ended the emotional post: ‘I knew what it was, I never knew it could be felt to this magnitude.’

‘I thought I’m just going to post this and there’s always a bit of nerves before I post anything. But I was absolutely overwhelmed.

‘Over 2,000 comments and I’ve read every single one. Many of the ones I read made me cry. I’ve thought all those things that those women have thought.

Nadia’s Instagram post was accompanied by a caption in which she said: ‘I literally never ‘dared’ to go on the beach or by the pool again in a bikini again without a cover up on.

‘Thank god those days are well and truly in the past ! I feel as joyful and liberated in this video as I look !! FREEDOM from my OWN and OTHERS ‘STINKING THINKING’ is a wonderful thing.’

Nadia’s Loose Women co-star Carol McGiffin, 60, said: ‘I can testify to Nadia’s paranoia about her body.

‘For years and years she used to jump into a swimming pool with a sarong on and get somebody to push her in to make it look like an accident because she didn’t want to take it off.

‘You would never see any of Nadia’s flesh and now she can’t keep her clothes on.’

Comedian Judi Love, 40,  said: ‘As I’ve got older, I realised that when I was younger, because I’ve always been a bigger girl from a child, but it was made aware to me by others.

‘I look back on pictures now and think “girl you were damn fine!” But the time I spent worrying about this little bit of me, I didn’t appreciate what I had.

‘I think over the past few years where I feel like I’m living more purposefully, I’ve come to really love myself and get to know myself.’

Nadia concluded: ‘I will never as long as I live go on a diet again, I will never count a calorie again. I am divorcing diets. It is this hellish cycle that we get on.’
