ONE TO WATCH
Two French international goalkeepers face up against each other at the Tottenham Hostpur Stadium this evening.
While Hugo Lloris may be the name more familiar to fans of the Premier League, it’s Alphonse Areola who has been catching the attention so far this season. In fact, he’s been catching almost everything.
The 27-year-old, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, has grown in confidence while at Fulham, and is currently on a run of 535 minutes without conceding a goal from open play. During that period, Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah and Callum Wilson have beaten him from the penalty spot.
