When Taylor Swift announced her Eras Tour last year, millions of fans around the world flocked to ticket sites to try and snap up whatever seats they could get.

As nearly 100,000 descended on Wembley Stadium to watch the pop billionaire on her second stint in London, many of the fans in attendance could only get their hands on seats with a ‘restricted’ view – however as they posted clips of their experience on TikTok, it seems they might have had some of the best seats in the house.

Several people who had only got their hands on the restricted tickets took to the app to to share their unobstructed view of the three hour show, revealing some of the best angles of the gig.

Posting their view of the show, one wrote ‘Restricted seats were sooo good’ while another, who had a view of the runway, said Taylor ‘spent 90 per cent of the time on the runway’ anyway.

A third, who appeared to have tickets towards the back of the arena, captioned her clear view of the show: ‘This is your sign to buy the restricted view tickets for Taylor Swift Eras Tour at Wembley.

The same TikToker shared that only the Folkmore/Evermore section of the gig was ‘partially hidden’, revealing a clear view of the concert below.

The ticket company added: ‘You’ll have either an incomplete view because of the position of the seats, or something may be in your line of sight – like a pole, speakers, or the sound board.’

Sharing their apparently unobstructed view, a fourth TikToker video said: ‘I bought last minute tickets in block 124 (with a code) for Taylor Swift – sold as partially restricted view. This was my view,’ again, sharing a view of the show from mere metres from the runway.

Speaking to others in the comments section, the user said they had purchased their ‘fabulous’ restricted tickets for £170.

It comes after fans at the London June performances were highly criticised by some who complained of terrible views despite having paid £700 for tickets.

Some took to the comments to confess their jealousy over the 'fabulous' views of the stage

Meanwhile, other fans shared their upset at having paid for top quality tickets but being left with a terrible view of the stage.

They said: ‘We paid a lot of money for these tickets and no where does it say restricted view! What can you do about this as they cannot see any of the stage that Taylor Swift will be on!’

‘@TicketmasterUK babes pls explain how this isn’t restricted view??? £200 to not be able to see Taylor at the end of the stage??? thanks in advance xoxo.’

‘The tents blocking my view more than the sound tower but it could be worse I guess,’ another said, to which someone told them to complain if they weren’t told the view was restricted.

However those who had actually paid for restricted view tickets ended up happy with their seats.

They said: ‘My view was ‘restricted’ but like it was amazing?? I couldn’t see the stuff happening on the main stage but like everything else I could see everythinggggg,’;

‘RESTRICTED WHERE,’; ‘Restricted view from this weeks production drop is actually pretty great.’

Though not everyone with restricted tickets was so lucky at the June performances as one fan said they ‘may as well have stayed at home’ after paying £60 for restricted view tickets that were sat behind the stage.

Another said they had only had a view for around a third of the show and was hugely disappointed.

There appeared to be a number of teething problems at the first Wembley shows with some also complaining that there were glitches on the big screen throughout the spectacle, suspecting that they might even be intentional because of how many there were.

Sharing pictures and videos of the Wembley screen glitching, fans appeared shocked at how often the technical problems were happening.

Fans at other shows have also complained of poor views with some Liverpool fans paying £660 for VIP tickets in Anfield, left nearly in tears after discovering terrible new with staging equipment blocking what they could see.
