A team of health-conscious Aussies have proven you don’t need to sacrifice your health or your waistline to enjoy a doughnut (or two) each day.
Health and fitness star Georgie Stevenson and her brother Coopa founded natural supplement brand Naked Harvest in 2019 and recently released their new Gorgeous Greens powder which has one portion of vegetables per serving.
Healthy baker Steph McDonald, the co-founder of Sneaky Wholefoods, showed how to use the powder to make delicious 230-calorie vanilla and pistachio doughnuts that promise to pack a nutritional punch without impacting the flavour.
To start you need to mash 150g of banana (about one-and-a-half bananas) and mix it with 50g of vanilla Greek yoghurt, 60g of vanilla pancake plant protein and three servings of the Gorgeous Greens powder.

These Greens are packed full of micronutrients, dissolve/mix in water easily, can be incorporated into your oats, pancakes, smoothies and yes – even doughnuts, and make boosting your diet with vitamins and minerals just that little bit more easy and enjoyable,’ Steph McDonald said.
‘Don’t get me wrong – I love eating wholefoods and I love a good salad – but sometimes, we just don’t have the time, energy or digestive capacity to actually eat a salad or we just need a top up beyond what we’re getting from our healthy diets. That’s where greens powders can make a world of difference.’
The Very Vanilla Gorgeous Greens powder costs $54.95 for 25 servings and is created using alkaline superfoods including organic spinach, organic wheatgrass, organic broccoli, organic kale, alfalfa and celery.
It also contains flaxseed fibre to provide omega-3 fatty acids, immunity boosting ginger and antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to support gut wellbeing, boost immunity, increase energy levels and natural detoxification.

‘This is the best greens powder I have used – I have it in my smoothie every morning and it doesn’t have the bitter aftertaste that most greens powders bring and I have definitely noticed a difference in how my body/health feels since using it,’ one wrote.
‘This tastes amazing! I absolutely love it. I mixed it in just cold water and was super surprised at how good it tasted on its own. I can’t wait to start adding this to my morning smoothie,’ another added.
