‘Henry, Our gorgeous, healthy little boy makes us a family of four. His proud parents couldn’t be happier. His big brother is learning to be gentle. Big love all around,’ she wrote, alongside photographs of Henry wrapped in a colourful hospital blanket.

Last year, Sylvia and Peter welcomed their first son, Oscar Hamilton, now one year old.

Just eight months later, the TV presenter revealed that she was pregnant with her second child.

Earlier this month, Sylvia went on maternity leave.

She shared a sweet picture of herself next to newsreader and fellow mother-to-be Jayne Azzopardi, as they both cradled their growing bellies while posing in the Nine newsroom.

Sylvia wrote in the caption: ‘My last day at work = last chance for a bump comparison with @jayneazzo. How did we get here so fast? (Hint: 2 x turbo toddlers).’

Last week, Sylvia and Peter celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary.

The couple shared heartfelt messages to each other as they reminisced about their special day.

Sylvia shared a photo from their wedding taken moments after they exchanged vows.

‘Four years married to my favourite mate. Happy anniversary Peter,’ she captioned the post.

Peter meanwhile, shared a photo of one of their first dances as husband and wife and captioned it: ‘Four years. What a blast of time – of love and laughs it’s been. Happy anniversary.’

The TV personality conceived her first son Oscar, one, via IVF, but has said her second pregnancy was ‘spontaneous’.

‘We hadn’t planned to go down that path so soon, but having had not an entirely easy path the first time around you can’t be anything but thankful and grateful to have fallen pregnant this way,’ she told The Australian Women’s Weekly.

The Nine presenter said many people had advised her against having boys 15 months apart, but she insisted they wouldn’t have it any other way.

She is also excited to be a mother of two sons because she was a very sporty tomboy growing up.

‘I’m not sure how I’m going to navigate the teenage years – that might be where Pete really has to step up – but I’m not worried about it,’ she told the publication.

‘I know it will be a lot to keep up with two turbo little boys, but for now I’m just embracing the beautiful chaos.’
