Fans were quick to brush aside Emmanuel Acho‘s NFL analysis on Monday after he broke his silence in the wake of the bombshell Fox Sports lawsuit.
According to shocking allegations involving some of the biggest names in sports media, FS1 host Joy Taylor ‘used sexual relationships with Acho and network executive Charlie Dixon to further her career’.
Just 24 hours later, Acho posted his breakdown of the Sunday night NFL regular season finale between the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions, opting against referencing any off-field controversy involving himself.
However, the comment section weren’t keen to let it slide, instead opening the floodgates for questions and reactions related to the allegations.
‘Dang this dude just completely is ignoring the allegations,’ one user wrote with a laughing emoji.
A lawsuit alleges that FS1 stars Emmanuel Acho and Joy Taylor had a sexual relationship
‘Wow what a joy it is to hear you from you,’ a second quipped, playing on Taylor’s name.
‘Aye idk if you know but they waiting for you to speak about something else,’ said a third.
A fourth user commented ‘you just gonna act like nothing happened?’
The lawsuit also alleges that Taylor plotted to protect her job by fabricating a sexual misconduct allegation against Dixon, a Fox Sports executive vice president in charge of talent.
Ex-FS1 stylist Noushin Faraji‘s camp filed that lawsuit on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Taylor, Dixon, former FS1 host Skip Bayless, and the Fox Corporation are named in Faraji’s lawsuit, much of which focuses on allegations of sexual harassment, sexual battery, negligent supervision, retaliation, and other hostile workplace issues between 2012 and August of 2024.
Bayless is accused of offering $1.5million to Faraji for sex, while Dixon is accused of groping the stylist’s buttocks.
Taylor herself is accused of dismissing Faraji’s complaints about sexual harassment against Bayless and Dixon, telling the hair stylist to ‘get over it.’
Amid claims of a sexual relationship between Acho and his co-host on ‘Speak’ fans dug out videos of the retired NFL linebacker talking about Taylor, with one claiming it ‘all makes sense now’ – despite the accusations being unconfirmed.
Fans bombarded Acho’s comment section with questions and reactions to the allegations
One clip shows Acho introducing Taylor on ‘Speak’ during Super Bowl week. ‘Truly, in the sports industry, I don’t know anyone that is more impressive – in every way, shape or form – than the one and only Joy Taylor,’ he said.
Another video – now reportedly deleted by Acho – shows him promoting his co-host before the show’s premiere.
‘I have to take a moment to shout out my co-host Joy Taylor. A woman. A black woman. Daily show. Sports. Do you all realize how hard it is to get into the position she’s in?’ he said.
‘So often there is misogyny and sexism running rampant in sports and we don’t even care what women have to say in sports. But Joy is not only in the position on television as a black woman. But as an opinion-ist.

‘So not just asking men what they think but providing her own unique and distinct insight. It’s hard to do, and Joy, you have done it, so congratulations. Looking forward to working with you.’
A spokesperson for Fox Sports told DailyMail.com: ‘We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation.’
DailyMail.com has reached out to Acho and Taylor’s management for comments.
Hours after Acho’s tweet went live, Taylor appeared on Speak with Paul Pierce, Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin – her first TV appearance since the allegations surfaced.
