She’s the teenage sweetheart of Guy Sebastian, who she shares two children with.

But despite the couple appearing to be as happy as newlyweds after 12 years of marriage, Jules Sebastian has revealed their ‘relationship isn’t perfect’.

In an interview with WHO magazine on Thursday, the 41-year-old confessed the flaw but detailed the secret to a happy union.

‘Our relationship isn’t perfect but I think our success comes down to the fact that we still really like each other,’ she said.

‘If something is wrong, Guy can’t go to bed without getting all his thoughts and feelings out, and it’s something that I’ve learned is a better way.’

The mother-of-two – to sons Hudson, eight, and Archer, six –  added the family having to go into COVID-19 lockdown in their $3.1million Maroubra mansion also proved to be ‘difficult’.

They had to get creative with staying out from under each other’s feet by playing a lot of board games.

Jules and Guy even bought the boys their first bikes to keep them preoccupied and active.

‘It’s difficult to spend that much time stuck at home together, even when you all love each other,’ Jules said.

Guy purchased the house in 2013 and then spent years renovating it. He and Jules finally moved in with their children in June 2019.

Neighbours had long complained about the four-bedroom home, with many describing it as a ‘fortress’ because of its monolithic facade and others even threatening to move away from the area.
