Rumours are swirling that two of the most gossiped-about socialites in Sydney‘s east are no longer on speaking terms – and their feud is the talk of Totti’s and TikTok.
Elle Salagaras, better known as ‘EasternSuburbsMum’ on social media, and Cindy Kilian, who goes by ‘RegardingCindy’, had been friends for years before falling out about four months ago.
Their rift is unique in that it has captured the attention of both the terminally online Tattle crowd as well as the more refined ladies-who-lunch set.
The feud supposedly began when one of the women made serious allegations about being the victim of an assault, and then objected to her friend’s reaction.
While there’s no way of confirming exactly what went down in this case of she-said-she-said, the fact the pair no longer follow each other on Instagram says it all.
Here’s what we know so far…

The story we’ve heard from our spies is that Elle shared a personal story over dinner at a restaurant and was disappointed with the response from Cindy.
This was apparently the final straw for their friendship.
At the time, Elle told her side of the story in an episode of her podcast ‘Ellefluential’. She made reference to the row, but did not mention Cindy by name.
She claimed she’d been assaulted at a restaurant and, as a result, her friends refused to dine there anymore. But when Cindy heard about the alleged incident, she indicated she would continue to visit the venue, which cannot be named for legal reasons.
‘She literally just starts saying, “I’m still going to go there”,’ Elle claimed.
‘It was so outrageous.’

Daily Mail Australia has obtained a now-expired video Cindy previously shared with her close friends on Instagram in which she addressed her argument with Elle and gave her side of the story.
In the clip, she confirmed several details from Elle’s podcast but insisted the matter had been blown out of proportion.
‘This girl [Elle] is starting online drama because I told her I wouldn’t stop going to [a venue] after she [alleged] she was sexually assaulted,’ Cindy began.
‘That is literally what she is starting online drama with me and unfollowed me for. Like, you’re crazy, man.’
She insisted the restaurant row ‘wasn’t that dramatic’, before adding: ‘You’re not going to tell a grown-ass woman where she can and cannot go. I would never ask that of my friends.
‘These girls are f****** delusional and love to start drama. It’s a big f****** awakening. This is why the circle is very small these days.’
Following the restaurant row, Elle reportedly made damaging claims online about Cindy’s past that cannot be published.
When contacted for comment about the feud, Elle (left) said she no longer had a personal or professional relationship with Cindy (right)
When contacted for comment about the feud, Elle told us via a spokeswoman: ‘Cindy and I first met at a work event and quickly developed an incredibly close friendship.
‘We often went to many events together and shared some incredible memories, I considered Cindy one of my dearest friends.
‘However, after much reflection, I have decided to part ways as both friends and work colleagues.
‘I am now focusing on my content creation through my TikTok and Instagram platforms, as well as my podcast, which continues to grow and inspire my audience. I wish Cindy all the best in her future endeavours.’
Cindy did not respond by the time of publication.
