Jennifer Coolidge had the perfect response to a red carpet reporter at the Golden Globes on Sunday.

The White Lotus star was stopped by a reporter from sheknows who asked her: ‘What’s exciting you about being a woman in Hollywood in 2025?’

Jennifer, 63, didn’t hesitate as she declared: ‘You can eat whatever you want now.’

The video has gone viral on TikTok with fans praising the icon for ‘keeping it real’ whilst others called her ‘a national treasure’.

Jennifer – who was one of the presenters during the evening – turned heads wearing a black, ruffled dress that fell down towards her ankles for Hollywood’s first big night of the 2025 awards season.

Before heading inside to the main ceremony, Jennifer was also joined by her ‘mystery date’ – who was revealed to be her close pal and fellow actor, Tim Bagley.

He has made a number of appearances in television shows such as Monk, King Of Queens as well as Will & Grace.

Most recently, Bagley starred in the miniseries The Perfect Couple alongside Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber

Bagley was also the actress’s date back in 2023 at the SAG Awards – and she notably gave him a shout out when she was accepting the award for Best Female Actor in a Drama Series for The White Lotus.

‘My wonderful date, Tim Bagley, is my date for the night. He’s my best bud for like 20 years,’ she expressed while on stage.

The star then humorously added, ‘Thank you, you’re a wonderful date tonight. I can’t wait until we get home.’

The A Cinderella Story actress has been keeping busy and recently stunned at the Palm Springs International Film Festival earlier this week on Friday.

Next up for Jennifer is a rumoured return to Legally Blonde, with the actress believed to be reprising her role as Paulette Parcelle in a new spin off series – more than two decades after the original hit movie premiered.

The prequel series, announced by Reese Witherspoon last May, will reportedly start shooting this year with Jennifer back as the lovesick manicurist.

It’s a joint project with Reese’s hugely successful production company Hello Sunshine and Amazon Prime.

One role that Jennifer won’t be returning to, leading to thousands of disappointed fans, is her lead in White Lotus.

The trailer for the third series of the smash hit show was recently released with new cast members.

The second season brought back Jennifer Coolidge as the wealthy and eccentric Tanya McQuoid, who realised in the finale that her husband Greg (Jon Gries) may have hired hitmen to murder her to acquire her vast fortune.

Though she ultimately got the best of the hitmen and killed them, Tanya later slipped and hit her head on the dinghy in a freak accident that killed her.

Fan favourite Jennifer previously revealed that she’d like her on-screen husband Greg to return for the third season to meet his end.

‘My hope for Jon is that he’s not finished with Greg,’ she said in Variety’s Actors on Actors interviews. ‘I hope there’s some comeuppance for evil Greg. I think he should, I don’t know, end up in a meat-grinding machine.’
