It comes three years after the stars suffered a devastating miscarriage.
In 2023, she revealed she was pregnant with her fifth child while also sharing about her loss: ‘After a heartbreaking loss last year, we are so grateful God has blessed us with a rainbow baby,’ she wrote on her Instagram Story, while encouraging her fans to watch her latest YouTube video, titled ‘A Baby on the Way & Romantic Getaway!’
That February, Duggar revealed that she suffered a miscarriage over the holidays in a nearly 19-minute long YouTube video, which documented her pregnancy journey as well as the aftermath of their loss.
The star recalled the moment she found out about the miscarriage, when her ultrasound technician told her, ‘The sac looks good. The baby does not.’
‘Nothing could’ve prepared me for the weight of those words at that moment,’ she shared, adding, ‘At that moment I was just in complete shock. I didn’t have words. I just immediately started crying.’
Jessa remembered how the technician then left the room as she and her husband began ‘trying to process the loss [while] sitting there and holding hands and crying.’
‘I feel like in some ways miscarriages can be so jarring because you don’t have clear signs of something going wrong,’ she said. ‘I had minimal spotting for 24 hours, and that was it.’
Because of complication risks, Jessa checked in to a hospital and had a dilation and curettage procedure.

Jessa rose to national recognition in 2008 on her family’s TLC reality series, which included life with her parents Michelle and Jim, and her 18 siblings.
The show was canceled in 2015 following the Duggars’ firstborn son Josh’s admission to molesting multiple girls, including his younger sisters.
A spinoff show called Counting On debuted in 2015, and ended in 2020.
Despite growing up as a helpful older sister, in 2020 Jessa explained how motherhood is different from being a hands-on sibling.
She told Us Weekly at the time, ‘When it’s your own kid, it’s totally different. For one, it’s your responsibility, it’s not like, “Here, Mom, the kid stinks, change the diaper.”
‘Waking up in the night, I think that was probably one of the hugest adjustments for me. Feeling that responsibility of checking on their fever and making sure they’re OK. Like, when do I know to go to the doctor?’
Jessa and her siblings — 10 brothers and eight sisters — were raised as devout followers of the Institute of Basic Life Principles, founded by now-shunned minister Bill Gothard.

Under the organization, women and girls were forbidden to wear trousers and had to wear skirts or dresses that were beyond knee-length.
Under their faith, they were also prohibited from dancing, dating or listening to certain kinds of music, leaving them in fear of straying beyond the church’s teachings.
Jessa’s younger sister, 31-year-old Jinger, is currently expecting her third child.
After leaving the church, and while promoting her 2023 memoir Becoming Free Indeed: My Story of Disentangling Faith from Fear, she compared her famous family to a ‘cult.’
