The couple, who are expecting their first child together, recently called it quits on their tumultuous four-year relationship.
It came shortly after they announced their baby news with the world, after the 38-year-old actress previously suffered a miscarriage.
Their breakup was reportedly due to Fox finding ‘upsetting material’ on the 34-year-old music artist’s phone during a Colorado vacation.
A source told ET that ‘Megan doesn’t like that she’s been pulled back into relationship drama’ as she awaits the birth of her fourth child.
It was added that the stars are ‘trying to figure out what their next step should be as a couple and co-parents.’

The relationship update comes after MGK’s ex Amia Miley alleged he partook in a shocking sex act when they dated eight years ago.
While speaking on the Inside Only Fans podcast, she said: ‘He’d be perfect for Only Fans if he [weren’t] so emotionally unstable.’
In another part of the chat, she said, ‘I mean, he drank my pee.
‘I don’t know what we were doing, but we got to his house and he was like, “Go in the shower.” And I’m like, “No, I don’t need a shower.”
‘So I did and he held out his hand and he’s like “OK, now pee”. Then he started going like this into his mouth.’
She claimed the star ‘never did it again after that one day’ because her urine ‘probably tasted gross.’
Fox purchased a new $8 million home in Los Angeles amid her and the rocker’s split.
Sources told TMZ that the exes hadn’t been living together throughout the past year.
MGK, born Colson Baker, reportedly bought a house years ago and always had guests at the home, leaving Fox concerned about safety and prompting her to live at her own place.
According to insiders, the Transformers siren has been renting over the last 12 months and is ready to put down roots.

‘Megan was just done with all of it,’ one person close to the stars told DailyMail.com exclusively about her decision to end the romance.
‘She was done with his behavior and the way that he treated her. When she fell pregnant, he thought it meant that she would stay with him no matter what — and it is not the case.
‘The most important thing in Megan’s world right now is her unborn baby and she has no problem raising the child on her own,’ the insider said.
It was added, ‘She’s left him before, but this time seems final. Her friends support her wholeheartedly and over the past few years they have grown to really dislike him.
‘Her friends were worried this was going to happen.’
It’s also been said that the siren is fuming with Baker’s request to be present at the birth of their child, according to sources who claim she doesn’t believe he ‘deserves’ to be in the room after she reportedly discovered he had been unfaithful.
