He’s now the only brother of the Burgess clan to have become an Australian citizen.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph on Sunday, Tom Burgess said he’d decided to apply in 2018 as he had ‘fallen in love’ with the country.

The 27-year-old South Sydney Rabbitohs star is engaged to model Tahlia Giumelli and the couple share five-month-old daughter Sophie.

Tom arrived in Sydney from the UK eight years ago, but only expected to stay for one year.

‘Who would’ve thought?’ the sportsman told the Sunday Telegraph. ‘I’d only signed a one-year deal at the time and I wanted to give it a go, but back then I couldn’t have imagined how my life would unfold.’

Fast-forward eight years, and Tom is still signed with the Rabbitohs and is planning a wedding with Tahlia, 26.

‘I’m so proud to be an Australian, getting married to an Aussie girl and having our beautiful Sophie,’ he said, adding that by 2018 he had ‘fallen in love’ with Australia.

Just recently, Tahlia told an Instagram follower that having a baby now means they have to ‘work as a team’.

‘Lots of communication and appreciation for what the other person is doing is always key! Work as a team!’ she wrote online.

The couple got engaged on their three-year anniversary – December 31.

‘And our 2019 ended just perfectly!’ Tahlia announced on Instagram at the time.

Oscar nominee Alec Baldwin passionately kissed his second wife Hilaria Thomas at the opening of the West Side Story revival at Broadway Theatre in Manhattan on Thursday.

At 61, the New Jersey-born actor is 25 years older than the Spanish-born yogi, whom he wed seven years ago after meeting her at a restaurant back in 2011.

Alec donned a grey suit over a baby-blue shirt and a striped black tie, while Hilaria toted a black-and-red Louis Vuitton bag and wore a long black coat over ‘yoga pants.’

‘I’m tired, my kids wanted to play with my hair…there may or may not be noodles in it,’ Thomas – who boasts 752K Twitter/Instagram following – lamented via Insta-story.

‘Still wearing my yoga pants…but I’m gonna go have some grown up time with Alec.’

Luckily, the May-December duo employ a nanny to look after their big bilingual brood – daughter Carmen Gabriela, 6; son Rafael Thomas, 4; Leonardo Ángel, 3; and Romeo Alejandro, 21 months – during their date night at the theater.

Baldwin also has a 24-year-old daughter Ireland from his nine-year marriage to Oscar winner Kim Basinger, which ended in 2002.

On Tuesday, the Daytime Emmy-winning correspondent recalled the first argument she had with the hot-tempered Saturday Night Live star, who had stormed off a red carpet leaving her behind to ‘waddle’ after him in her floral fishtail gown.

‘It wasn’t very dramatic, but I think it was my first Hilaria glare that I gave [Alec],’ Hilaria wrote on Instagram.

‘The photographer that took this photo was a super nice woman who printed it out for me and we have it hanging by our entry way. As a reminder for him to behave.’

Thomas attends weekly therapy sessions in order to cope with the miscarriages she and Baldwin suffered last April and November, Insta-storying on February 7: ‘I really needed to choose happiness in such a difficult time. And I needed to work very hard for it.’

On Wednesday night, the Motherless Brooklyn actor blasted the flawed Democratic presidential candidate hopefuls after watching NBC News’ Nevada debate.

‘Some Dem candidates have campaign finance issues, sexual harassment issues, credibility issues, cognitive issues, budget balancing issues. You put all those together…you’ve got [four more years of President Donald] Trump,’ the three-time Golden Globe winner wrote to his 1M Twitter followers.

‘Why is the bar so low regarding our hopes for the Presidency? One won’t release his NDAs [regarding] sexual harassment. [One] is a campaign finance cheater. [Two] are compulsive liars about how they intend to pay for all of their promises.

‘[One] is struggling, after 8 [years] as VP to articulate his vision. We have a very simple job to do. To spend [money] on those things we have too long neglected – Infrastructure, debt, health care, and affordable housing. #MAKEAMERICASOLVENTAGAIN.’

Nicole Trunfio is more than ready to welcome her third child.

The Australian supermodel, who is well past her due date, was back at the doctor’s office in Los Angeles this week to check on the progress of her pregnancy.

The 33-year-old model posed for a selfie in the bathroom, modelling a jumpsuit from her maternity range, and included her urine sample in the frame.

Update: Heavily pregnant Nicole Trunfio posed for a selfie at the doctor’s office this week after going well past her due date… and included her urine sample in the frame

‘More pee samples and still no baby,’ she wrote in the caption. ‘Wearing my favorite @bumpsuit “the Harper” available online now! So chic and so cozy.’

Nicole looked stunning as she affectionately cradled her tummy in a white off-the shoulder all-in-one.

The Perth-born stunner recently released her maternity range, which she has cheekily named a ‘bumpsuit’.

'More pee samples and still no baby,' she wrote in the captions. 'Wearing my favorite @bumpsuit “the Harper” available online now! So chic and so cozy'

The maternity jumpsuit promises to be the ‘most comfortable piece of clothing for your lady bumps’.

Nicole’s friends recently threw her a baby shower.

The mother-of-two enjoyed a lavish bash at the exclusive West Hollywood clubhouse, San Vincente Bungalows.

From floral displays, a decadent cake to a celebrity guest list, it seems the day was an exquisite affair.

At the event, Nicole could be seen posting with friends including pregnant Lara Bingle, holding a bouquet of flowers, saying she was ‘grateful for her girls.’

Disgruntled Married At First Sight fans have demanded that Channel Nine producers change the format of the reality TV show for season 2021.

In a discussion on Facebook, several viewers said they were sick of seeing ‘plastic Barbie dolls’ only taking part in the social experiment for fame and wanted producers to cast genuine people ‘looking for real love’.

‘Real people… like everyday normal folk. None of these Botox silicone Barbie dolls,’ one fan wrote, while one raged ‘I’m so over the expanded lip brigade.’

‘I want real people, like when then they first started MAFS. Not attention seeking wannabe social media influencers!’ another added.

‘I have nothing against Botox, fillers and boob jobs… all I’m asking for is that they are real people who are there with the right intentions – which is finding love – not followers on IG!’

Meanwhile, other fans said they wanted to see a more culturally diverse cast.

‘I want to see Aboriginal and African, Asian (Eastern and Indian)… I want a massive gorgeous melting pot of awesomeness,’ one remarked.

Viewers also insisted that couples come from the same state, so they would have a better chance at staying together.

‘I want to see couples who live in the same state and couples who actually stand a chance of being compatible,’ one suggested.

‘More people matched that live closer to the other, most live in different states,’ another added.

There were also calls for producers to cast fewer couples on the show, so more of their love stories could be shown.

‘Less couples and I’d like to see the experts genuine trying to match people,’ they wrote.

‘They need less couples so we can see more of what’s happening rather than the highly edited versions,’ another said.

Many suggested that Channel Nine follows the New Zealand version of the social experiment and let ‘the experts step in when there are issues’.
