Tommy Fury‘s wild father Big John has quit the Love Island star’s business on his daughter Bambi’s birthday, MailOnline can reveal.
The Love Island star – who split from his partner Molly-Mae Hague last summer – has been seen leaving his ex’s Cheshire home in recent weeks and the pair were spotted kissing at a New Year’s Eve party.
The mother is said to have set him a list of stipulations to win her back including a party ban and pitching in more with family life instead of focusing on his boxing matches.
Former boxer and bare-knuckle fighter John Fury’s move came on January 23 – as Tommy was pictured reuniting with Molly for their daughter’s second birthday.
The 59-year-old had served as director alongside his son at Fury TNT since it was first incorporated in 2019, but his appointment in that role was terminated earlier this week. He may still hold a role behind the scenes. The company’s last published accounts, up to January 2023, revealed it had assets of £361,767.
The company lists its nature of business as ‘sports activities’ and TNT stands for Tommy’s boxing nickname – punning on his explosive punching abilities.
Nicknamed Gypsy John, the notorious father has long been a controversial figure in the boxing world – and was sentenced to 11 years in 2011 for trying to gouge out a man’s eye in a brawl.

The self-confessed ‘hardest man in Britain’ was even given the boot by his champion son Tyson for his latest defeat against Oleksandr Usyk – when he banned him from his corner.
In the build up to May’s fight he was criticised by several fans for his behaviour, when he was left bloodied after headbutting a member of Usyk’s camp.
Earlier this month Tommy said that he had a ‘new mindset’ but the ‘same dream’ in a post on social media, alongside photographs of himself in boxing gloves.
Just days later Tommy, 25, gave an emotional interview with Men’s Health – carefully timed days before the release of Molly-Mae’s documentary – where he revealed his own drinking problem for the first time and admitted his mental health was ‘in the pan’.
He told the publication: ‘This year, it’s about being thoughtful. It’s about being kind. It’s about being the right partner, it’s about being a good partner.
‘It’s about being there more, it’s about making sacrifices, taking the right time to see the right people, doing the right things.
‘That’s what I wanna do this year, as well as my work life.’
Amid rumours that their August 2024 break-up was a publicity stunt, Tommy spoke candidly about his mental-health battle and insisted he has never cheated on Molly-Mae – calling rumours about other women ‘complete and utter b***ocks ‘.

He instead said that it was because he ‘got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore’.
Tommy explained how his problems started when he underwent reconstructive surgery in January 2024, after snapping all the ligaments in his hand in 2019.
He stated that his ‘mental health was in the pan’ during his recovery from surgery, which came off the back of ‘the best year I’ve ever had’ in 2023 which saw both his career and life with Molly flourish.
The pair – who were the runners-up on reality TV show Love Island season five in 2019 – got engaged in 2023, months after welcoming their daughter Bambi.
Explaining how a large part of his identity was snatched away from him when he could no longer train, Tommy said his diet and fitness were the first things he let slip before he turned to alcohol.
Admitting that he would go out most nights and drink to ‘get black-out drunk’, he said he replaced his intense training camp schedule by ‘smashing Guinness left and centre and then later on in the night shots would come out’.
Tommy’s relationship soon began to suffer but he has insisted that he never cheated on Molly and also maintained his close bond with his daughter Bambi during the dark period.
But the pair put their relationship woes to one side as they got together for Bambi’s birthday earlier this week.

According to pals, Molly-Mae has ‘never stopped loving’ Tommy and is mulling over a way forward with the professional sportsman romantically.
A source told the Mirror: ‘She’s not stupid and she would only let Tommy back into her life in a romantic way if she felt she could fully trust him – and he still has a long way to go to build up that trust again.
‘But he has said he’ll do anything to win her back and will happily follow her rules in a bid to win her back and move home.’
Amid reports that they had rekindled their romance at the start of this year, a source told The Sun that the boxer had spent the night at Molly’s house.
Earlier in the day on Saturday, the pair are said to have gone to the cinema to watch Nosferatu, before Tommy was seen leaving Molly-Mae’s home on Sunday wearing the same clothes.
‘They were seen cosying up together at the cinema, they were holding hands and generally being really sweet,’ the source said.
‘Tommy then escorted Molly-Mae back home. It snowed heavily overnight and there were no car tracks visible. It looked like Tommy stayed the night, the gates opened this morning and he drove out.’

Hard man Big John has been a controversial figure at Tommy’s fights, as he fought a series of big-money matches against the likes of YouTube’s KSI – on a night jokingly called the ‘fight of the century for people who don’t actually watch boxing’
At their final press conference, John Fury punched and headbutted a glass panel as he stormed the stage before continuing to launch a verbal attack towards KSI, finally being led away by security.
The elder Fury has led a long and colourful life in and out of the ring, getting into some ugly scrapes in the process.
A former professional heavyweight himself, John has his own notorious history in boxing, and has served time in prison for gouging out a man’s eye as part of a 12-year feud involving a bottle of beer.
Born in Tuam, Galway into a Traveller family, he made his professional debut in April 1987 against rugby player Adam Fogerty.
His career lasted eight years, during which time he fought in 13 bouts, winning against opponents including Michael Murray, a future British title challenger, and Cesare Di Benedetto, a future Italian title challenger.
He is also said to have fought in bare-knuckle fights and claims he won £100,000 in one bout.
He was jailed in February 2011 after being found guilty of wounding Oathie Sykes, now 57, with intent to cause grievous bodily harm following a bloody fight at a car auction, which was said to be the culmination of a 12-year feud.

Former professional boxer John, 59, said his family’s fearsome fighting prowess stemmed from his tough-as-nails mother, Cissy, a ‘natural southpaw’.
It’s said the origins of the two men’s disharmony stemmed from an argument they had whilst friends on a 1999 holiday in Cyprus involving a bottle of beer.
Manchester Crown Court heard during his trial that the then 46-year-old declared himself the country’s toughest man before pouncing on his victim, who was left half-blind as a result of the attack.
Tyson, who was trained by his father at the time, supported John from the public gallery.
Despite being Tyson’s trainer, John then missed crucial career-building fights before his eventual release in February 2015, just four years into his 11-year sentence.
He later said: ‘He’s lost an eye and I’ve lost five years of my life.’
The victim of the assault, Mr Sykes, was less forgiving when giving evidence at Manchester Crown Court against Fury, saying: ‘It was like he was trying to pull his finger into my brain through my socket.
‘I was screaming, “Please stop, you’re hurting me.”‘
Throughout last year, Tommy was pictured on rowdy nights out with his mates – including a weekend in Budapest where he was pictured with a former Miss Hungary.

He was also snapped at an event at the Hungary Opera House with another brunette woman during the same boozy trip. The trip is said to have contributed to their split.
‘Cheating was never a thing,’ Tommy insisted. ‘You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing. You need to get a grip of it.
‘If you’re in the same spot as me, where you just think that it’s going to cure all your problems, it doesn’t. You wake up even worse and you want to drink more to try and feel happy again. That’s the cycle of it.’
Molly, who was filmed kissing her ex on New Year’s Eve, admits in the documentary that she wants to get back together with Tommy.
Molly-Mae announced her shock split from Tommy, also 25, in August five years after they met on ITV reality dating show, Love Island.
She tells the camera: ‘I don’t know what the future holds for us, but I would be lying if I said my love just disappeared over night.’
Tommy and Molly’s representatives have been contacted for comment.
