Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk 2 LIVE: Gypsy King loses AGAIN as all three judges give fight to Ukraine’s world champion on points – before Fury storms out of the ring in disgust

Jeff Powell has delivered his verdict on a gripping fight and explained where he thinks Fury came up short.

The man himself addressed the speculation after the second loss of his career. Where does the Gypsy King go from here?

Fury said after the fight that the judges gave Usyk an early Christmas gift by awarding him victory on the night.

‘I felt a little Christmas spirit in there and I think he got a little Christmas gift from them judges. An early Christmas gift,’ Fury said.

‘I was confident I had won that fight again. I thought I’d won both fights but then again I’ve gone home with two losses on my record.

‘I’m not going to cry over spilt milk. It’s happened now. I know boxing, I’ve been in it all my life, and you can’t change no decisions.’

It feels like there is still so much to unpack from an astonishing night in Saudi Arabia. Usyk a deserving winner in the eyes of so many but Tyson Fury defiant in the aftermath that he won the fight.

But the damage Fury took was clear to see as he laid out his view of how the evening went in his press conference.

It seems everybody’s scorecards are getting a battering tonight.

No matter what it reads, fans on social media will have a go at it either way. Well, that’s all I am seeing anyway.

Anthony Joshua was on scoring duty on television and he has been slaughtered by people across different platforms.

I mean, it’s a bit harsh…

I had it very close, I couldn’t split it. All three judges had it the same way. I had it a draw, one round, I thought it was close. We’ll watch it back, but I found it difficult to pick a winner.

Many believe that Tyson Fury boxed better, and smarter, against Oleksandr Usyk than he did in the first fight.

Well, the Ukrainian fighter doesn’t seem to agree…

Speaking during the post-fight press conference he said: ‘This fight was not easy but it was easier [than the first fight]’

I mean, I kind of get it but I don’t at the same time. I know that is hard to understand, but give me a chance.

Fury was incredible at the start of that first fight. He was dominating Usyk and was making light work of him – hence the showboating.

And while he wasn’t as aggressive in the earlier rounds this time, Fury was much better toward the end of the fight.

I reckon the first six rounds of the first fight were the hardest of Usyk’s career.

Eeyore really is Oleksandr Usyk’s special charm.

The champ entered the Kingdom Arena with the cuddly toy on his arm and he has just left the stadium with it too.

We have never quite seen a personality like Usyk in the sport of boxing, and I love it.

I wonder which toy he will bring for his next fight, whenever that is.

Will he stick to Winny the Pooh characters, or will he switch it up? We will have to wait and see.

I was quite confident, I thought I won that fight again, both fights, but then again I’ve gone home with two losses on my record, not much I can do about it, I’ll believe until the day I die I won the fight.

I was on the front foot all night, sometimes it’s hard to score. I feel a lot of people scored it 7-5, Frank had me three or four rounds up, I’m not going to cry. I’ll always feel a little bit hard done by, not a little bit, a lot, when you don’t get a knockout, you can’t guarantee a win.

Oleksandr Usyk is pretty qualified to talk about British boxers.

I mean, he has fought all of the best ones in the current generations, hasn’t he?

Just in the last year, he has beaten Tyson Fury twice and Daniel Dubois. Before that, he dominated Anthony Joshua on two occasions too.

Usyk was asked which one of them was the toughest he had faced and it didn’t take him long to say who.

That’s right, he said it was Fury.

I’m sure you are all aware by now that it’s a very controversial one. Well, Frank Warren and Tyson Fury certainly think so.

All four judges saw it as an even contest early on but as the rounds went on, Usyk was deemed in control of the fight.

The longer it went the more it became a master class from the greatest tactician and the most dazzling technician of this and many another generation.

Leave it all in the ring they say, and Fury and Usyk were determined to do exactly that in the final round. But once again, it was Usyk who seemed to edge the exchanges.

It appears Tyson Fury is not a fan of AI.

The Gypsy King was told how the AI judge scored the contest and he did not keep his response PC.

I won’t ruin everything that he said, but as you can see by the headline, he did not hold back.

Tyson is my best friend. I really respect this guy because I think that he is really tough. Tyson Fury makes me stronger, he motivated me. He’s a great man, a good man. Tyson is a lot of talk, it’s just a show. I really respect Tyson Fury and now is already history.

The Gypsy King’s right eye did not look in great condition as he arrived for his post-fight press conference earlier in the night.

I mean, just look at it. Not great, eh?

This is a genuine conversation to be had.

I don’t feel like Oleksandr Usyk gets the credit he deserves for what he has done within the sport of boxing.

I mean, he has beaten most of the greatest fighters in his generation, and most of the time in their own backyards.

Tyson Fury was arguably the greatest of his era before this year, and Usyk has now beaten him twice. Not to mention how he took apart Anthony Joshua.

So, where do you think Usyk ranks among the all-time greats?

How emotions can change at the drop of the hat, eh?

After the final bell, Tyson Fury was convinced he had won the fight and even got up on the ropes in celebration.

A few minutes later, he looked devastates after it was confirmed had lost for the second time in his career devastated.

Sport really can be brutal.

Alex Krassyuk, Oleksandr Usyk’s promoter, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live:

I am extremely proud. It was an encyclopedia of boxing and he showed today how boxing is constructed from the bottom to the top. Incredible performance. There is no time to walk away, he is happy to do this. I had to Fury three or four rounds. The judges gave him four. That’s the fairest score it could be.

He could be next, but how could you name him next when he is fighting Usyk?

Now that looks like a pretty cool sword, no?

Oleksandr Usyk was presented with what appears to be an Ivan Mazepa saber, a special saber in the Ukrainian military.

I think that will look rather cool among all his belts, if that’s where he chooses to put it. Or maybe up on the wall?

Anyway, it’s hardly my decision.

Tyson Fury, speaking to ESPN:

I thought I won the fight again, I was Larry Holmesed again. I was on the front foot the entire time. When you don’t get the knockout, this is what can happen.

Just look at how much there was for Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh tonight.

The champion did not go crazy in celebration but he certainly gave it a little bit after the result came through.

The crowd below him were absolutely loving it and it it looked like he was too. I mean, why wouldn’t he?

I can imagine he is going to have a very fun Christmas now, a nice early gift.

I’m not sure Oleksandr Usyk even has the word ‘losing’ in his vocabulary. He only knows how to win, it’s truly unbelievable.

That’s now 23 fights and 23 wins. That may not seem like a lot in the professional fight game, but you should see some of the names he has beaten.

Imagine never having tasted defeat, he must feel untouchable.

I think he is due one at some point, so maybe I will take him on… in a video game.

You didn’t think I was really going to call one of the greatest heavyweights of all time out for a fight.

I’ll happily play boxing on Xbox, though. Maybe then he will get a one in the loss column.

To be honest, he’d still probably win.

If Tyson Fury ios already angry about the scorecards, then he won’t want to hear what the AI judge scored the contest.

It’s gone even more out there with 118-112 to Oleksandr Usyk…

I mean, that is bonkers, I’m sorry. Don’t get me wrong Usyk is a worthy champion and that fight could have gone either way.

But that dominant, surely not?

I think it should be some time until we see AI make its official debut based off of this test.

There is only one fight for Tyson Fury and it’s Anthony Joshua. Fury is still potentially at the peak of his powers but just wasn’t up to it against Usyk. I’d love to see Fury v AJ at Wembley and then maybe come back out here.

Anonymous: I had Usyk winning by 2 rounds not 4 but bottom line he was still a cut above Fury.

Joyce, UK: There is no way Fury lost that fight, people commenting on here either are blinded by their dislike for him.

Anonymous: I had Usyk winning 7 rounds to 5. Fury had over a 3-stone advantage and 6 inches in height. Obviously, Usyk is a far superior fighter.

Anonymous: It was a clear and decisive win. Nobody had it in Fury’s favour and I’d take more notice of the AI judge which has it even more clearly in Usyk’s favour.

Wladimir Klitschko, Former heavyweight world champion, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live:

We are lucky to have such an amazing champion. A legend. Just outstanding from the boxing ground. He just made history and that win is extremely important for us Ukrainians, he’s putting Ukraine on the map once again.

He’s done it so many times. I don’t know another person who’s been as excellent as Usyk in boxing. You are a true legend. Some Ukrainians might not have watched that fight tonight but they will know tomorrow morning that Usyk is a champion.

Tony Bellew is certainly a man who can have his say…

The former Cruiserweight champions fought Oleksandr Usyk back in 2018, so I think he is qualified enough.

He believes that the Ukrainian deserved the victory because of his work rate, but the scorecard was hard.

It seems there are a lot of people who have that opinion.

Frank Warren, Queensberry promotions, speaking on Tyson Fury’s next steps:

It’s up to him. It’s just after a fight and emotions are running high. It’s nuts. Did you only give him four rounds out of eight? I don’t get it.

I’m really disappointed. We’ll have to see what happens in the future for Tyson. I thought he was in control, boxed really well and had Usyk on his back foot.

Was that the last time we ever see Tyson Fury in a boxing ring?

It’s pretty hard to see a trilogy fight with Oleksandr Usyk, maybe we would have got one if they drew.

With that not on the table, where could Fury go?

Maybe Anthony Joshua is the direction as they would both be coming off losses, but would the hype still be there.

Then there is Daniel Dubois, but going by his interesting actions after the fight he wants Oleksandr Usyk for a unification bout.

Other than that, I’m not sure who else Fury could fight…

I was worried we might not hear anything from the Gypsy King tonight but Sky Sports managed to catch him backstage.

He claims he believes he won by three rounds, but that’s all he is willing to say.

I mean, Fury does seem angry, doesn’t he?

I have a feeling we are going to hear a lot fo him when he feels the time is right.

Frank Warren, Queensberry promotions, speaking to TNT Sports:

I’m dumbfounded. They gave him [Tyson Fury’ four rounds out of the 12, which is impossible. I’ve been around a long time and I know I am biased, but one judge didn’t give him any rounds from round six onwards.

How can that be? That’s impossible. It’s crazy. I’m calm and collected, I’m not screaming and shouting, but that is nonsense.

This is going to be a talking point for a very long time.

Everybody I have spoken to seems stunned at how one-sided the judges had that fight.

Look, this is not to say that Oleksandr Usyk is not a worthy winner…

The Ukrainian boxed well, applied pressure, and landed some big shots as the fight went on.

However, he was certainly not dominant, was he?

I want to hear what all of you have to say. Do you think that Tyson Fury was hard done by?

Tyson Fury looks bewildered, he really can’t believe that he has lost that.

Just Oleksandr Usykl is talking in the ring, the camera pans to show that Fury has left with his team.

He’s so shocked that he does not want to talk.

I mean, I kind of get it. The scorecards seem so harsh, Tyson Fury surely won more than just four rounds.

It will be interesting to see what he says when the time comes, but whether that will be tonight, we will have to wait and see.

I have never seen Fury that gutted.

Daniel Dubois interjects with Oleksandr Usyk’s interview despite calls telling him to stop.

He demands a rematch after the Ukrainian beat him in August of last year, and Usyk agrees and calls for it to get done.

I mean, I guess that is the fight to make after how Dubois beat Anthony Joshua earlier in the year.

Oleksandr Usyk, speaking to DAZN:

I win, it’s good. I’m not judge, I am a sportsman and athlete. My win. I train, good prepare. My wife helps me and my children. It’s a very happy day, my boys win competition too in judo. A great fight, a great opponent, a great 24 rounds.

Oleksandr Usyk remains the king of the heavyweights and beats Tyson Fury for the second time this year.

All three judges score the contest 116-112 to Usyk…

It’s an early Christmas present for the Ukrainian who remains undefeated. I wonder if he will hang the belts on his tree?

I have to say though, that is surprising.

I thought it was much closer than that. Fury looks stunned, and so does Frank Warren, he’s not a happy bloke at all.

I am really unsure who has won that fight.

Tyson Fury commanded the early round but once again Oleksandr Usyk finished strong.

Credit to Fury, though, his size did not affect his tank of energy. He still managed to finish strong.

But was it strong enough?

We are nearly ready for the scorecards, you can cut the tension with a knife.

A desperate Fury goes for a Hail Mary right – and eats leather for his trouble. Fury gallant fights back but lacks the sharpness to have effect. Fury kneels to the crowd in supplication. Fury raises a fist in hope.

Tyson Fury is certainly not gassed out here, he is going for it, but so is Oleksandr Usyk.

They trade punches, both are landing now as they go for a big final round.

This is incredible, neither of them are giving in, and both are going until the final bell.

OH! Usky lands right at the end but then the bell goes. They both put their arms to the air and Fury kisses Usyk’s head.

It’s now or never for Tyson Fury.

The Rocky music is played over the speakers as they prepare for the final round of a brilliant second fight.

The left sinister wreaking concern now, one after the other and another send Fury reeling around the ring in a daze.

This fight is just so tough to call.

each fighter is trying to control the pace and it changes round by round, this time it’s Oleksandr Usyk who is starting to go for it.

He presses him into the corner and lands really well, but Fury then responds well in the middle of the ring.

OHHHH, Usyk lands a brilliant left at the end of a combination! He is starting to reel off the punches, he is putting his foot down.

A big round for the champion.

Fury finally unleashes a huge right but Usyk has him reeling at the end from a sustained barrage.

I think a switch may have flicked in Tyson Fury.

He comes out the gates in the 10th with a flurry of punches, trying to take control of the fight once again.

This is much better from Fury, he he lands a good combination before smothering Oleksandr Usyk again.

His tactic is clear. Land combinations and then hug – it seems to be working in this round.

Oleksandr Usyk just can’t get clear of his grip and is feeling the real weight of the big man.

More vintage Usyk keeps driving back Fury, who might just be slowing now.

Here come the body shots and undercuts from Tyson Fury!

He throws a couple of decent ones before Oleksandr Usyk defends well. Fury tries to hold him but he gets away well.

Fury is trying to smother Usyk now, or maybe he just wants a cheeky hug.

The activity of the round is low from both yet again… until Usyk lands a good straight left as we head into the final minute.

Then Usyk pushes Fury back before the Brit misses with a Haymaker.

Usyk complains about a butt. The referee is unconvinced but he exacts his own retribution with a succession of left hooks.

Ohhh, the two clash heads and the referee has to pause proceedings quickly.

He then gives Tyson Fury a telling-off again before Oleksandr Usyk lands a couple of decent shots.

Fury’s activity is getting less and less by the round and we all know why that is.

Usyk then lands again before the end of the round and he is certainly starting to look the better fighter now.

A more watchful round from both but Usyk nips and out for the more telling of the few punches.

Tyson Fury’s energy levels are really starting to drop, he is not commanding the ring anywhere near as much as before.

But Oleksandr Usyk is not keeping his pace up either and Fury catches him with a couple of jabs.

The Ukrainian is still struggling to close the gap, but if he lands the Gypsy King could be in trouble.

Fury is really trying to be tactical here as he starts to gas a little. Smart boxing.

It’s a really quiet round of activity for both and that works for Fury. A much better round for him.

Wonderful work from Usyk, speeding in and out towards a climax of three shuddering left hooks.

The pace is slowing a little here, maybe Tyson Fury is starting to feel the pace of this fight now.

Oleksandr Usyk is taking control a little, Fury is hardly throwing and Usyk is trying to be more active.

And then Usyk hurts Fury, he lands a brilliantly left hook, and Fury’s arms drop. Then again, he is starting to catch him now.

Brilliant boxing from the Ukrainian.

Fury goes to work with left-right combinations and despite clever replies Tyson is level again.

This is when we see how much the size of Tyson Fury affects his conditioning.

He starts the round really well and pushes Oleksandr Usyk back, he is really trying to land with regularity.

He then lands his first uppercut to the body and that one certainly hurt the Ukrainian.

This is vintage Fury here, his fitness is certainly not affecting him yet.

But just as the round comes to an end Usyk lands a flurry of punches with a smile on his face.

The crowd roused as Usyk sends spray flying but Fury’s work edges the round.

Oh, Oleksandr Usyk catches Tyson Fury and pushes him against the ropes.

They then trade punches in the centre of the ring and it feels like Usyk is finding his rhythm at last.

But just as I type that Fury catches Usyk with a right, and he is trying to up his tempo to match Usyk.

Tyson runs at him at the start of the third. It was he who was supposed to go for the body but Usyk cleverly reversed that with attacks on the huge form front of him.

Tyson Fury is boxing really well here, taking his time and picking his shots.

He switches stances to try and confuse Oleksandr Usyk before switching back again.

Another good round of tactical boxing, but not many big shots are being thrown.

Fury’s intent in welcome contrast to his showboating at the start of the first fight. Crisp jabs from and a couple of hefty rights get him on the scorecard. Is he going for a quick finish?

Oleksandr Usyk just can’t get close to Tyson Fury at the moment, he can’t land any of his punches.

There is no showboating from Fury this time, he is just jabbing and trying to catch Usyk as he comes forward.

Ohhhh, and he rocks Usyk with a big right hand, that really did shake the Ukrainian.

A great start from the challenger.

That beard was bushier than ever, Usyk’s shaven head in gleaming contrast. In size, it really was David v Goliath. Fury’s first right sent Usyk staggering back across the ring. Fury’s fast start negatedby some darting two-fisted interventions from the champion.

Tyson Fury is keeping his distance as much as he can, he’s not really throwing any punches.

Oleksandr Usyk is trying to apply the pressure and pushes Fury to the ropes, but the Brit responds with a good counter.

Fury swings a right hook late in the round but can’t get a good connection.

My word, Tyson Fury is absolutely massive.

He takes his top off for the final staredown and starts blowing kisses as Oleksandr Usyk before they touch gloves.

The waiting is over. The first bell goes.

We are nearly there, I swear…

Michael Buffer is just introducing the two fighters in his signature fashion, which never gets old.

In the meantime, I want to hear your final predictions.

I am in the Olkesnadr Usyk corner, I just think his conditioning will be too much for Tyson Fury and he will top him in the later rounds.

We are just going through the national anthems and with how long it’s taking to go through them, it may be longer than the fight.

I’m just that desperate for this fight to start, we have all been waiting for months.

Before they could even think about getting into limousines for the motorcades to the stadium along the impromptu race tracks which serve as highways here there were log jams in committee rooms for teams Fury and Usyk.

Could the Gypsy King keep his Methusula beard grown in his long and isolated training camp? Or should it be sheared off or trimmed in case it cushioned the Kyiv Cat’s punches or aggravated any damage to his face?

This Cat is cool. He stayed calm through that record 11 minutes and 20 seconds stare down during fight week until Tyson could not restrain himself no longer from yapping into a slew of insults.

The Kingdom Arena awaiting them, after all was said and done, is roofed in but with temperatures plummeting after dark in this month in which snowfall in the desert was recorded for the first time in Saudi history it was still a chilly enclosure. As for those single-bar heaters known as human beings, this is a Kingdom of the night.

Scorching heat most of the year dictates that work, play and the national sport of shopping start late afternoon at the earliest. With the peak hour for restaurant reservations close to eleven than seven. As for the boxing, since big fights like this come to the ring around 2 am the place doesn’t fill up much if anything before the witching hour.

Almost on the stroke of midnight the locals came trooping in, warming up the hall and the atmosphere. Screenshots of Fury and Usyk arriving revealed their preference for the champion. Fury always has his following but there were fewer fellow travellers than usual.

My word, Oleksandr Usyk has laser focus as he walks to the ring.

He looks in incredible shape, dressed in what looks like a warrior-style outfit mixed with traditional dress.

These two ring walks have been incredibly different but just sum up the personalities of both.

I am more excited than ever and now we are nearly there.

I have just burst out laughing.

Tyson Fury has just started this ring walk two Mariah Carey’s ‘All I want for Christmas’ dressed in a Santa Claus robe.

That’s the most Fury thing ever.

He doesn’t look like he is spreading joy, though, he is looking as mean as he has the last week.

The robe is hiding his belly, so we don’t get to see how big he is again just yet.

I really can’t tell you just how big tonight is for Tyson Fury.

He is the best heavyweight of his generation, undoubtedly, but he has just one blemish on a near-perfect record.

That was handed to him by Oleksandr Usyk, and he simply hates the fact that he has a one in the loss column.

Tonight, he can avenge that loss.

If he wins, he has done everything he has needed to in the sport and maybe even retirement will be on the cards.

Well, his legacy as the best will be gone. That’s how big tonight is for him, nearly as big as the shorts is he wearing.

I didn’t realise Raymond van Barneveld had changed sports?

The pre-fight show has just started and they open up with ‘Eye of the Tiger’, the famous song that the five-time Darts world champion uses for his walkouts.

I can assure you that he is not fighting tonight, however, he did just lose in round tow of the Drats World Championships.

Anyway, you guys don’t care about that.

I’m just getting excited about the fight as it is nearly time for the pair of them to walk out into the ring.

The anticipation is killing me!

Carl Froch, former world super-middleweight champion, on BBC Radio 5 live:

Fury might try to come out and box and move but he won’t be able to outbox Usyk. If Fury comes out and goes for the finish, which I think is his only chance, he’ll come close but he’ll run out of steam. I can’t see past a Usyk win.

I really can’t believe just how big Tyson Fury.

He looks gigantic compared, it’s bonkers. The shape he is in surely means he won’t be able to go the distance.

Does this mean that Fury is going for an early knockout?

The Gypsy King is usually so light on his feet, he moves brilliantly for a big man, but he has never fought anywhere near this size before.

If he doesn’t stop Oleksandr Usyk early, you have a feeling the Ukrainian will be able pick him off in the later rounds.

Those pictures have really thrown me, I can’t lie…

My word, Tyson Fury really is a big lad.

We have just been shown a look inside the Fury dressing room as he gets ready for the big fight, which is not far away now.

Yesterday, Fury weighed in at a huge 281 lbs but he was wearing a lot of layers of clothing.

I thought that the size of Fury for this fight may be a bit of a myth, but those pictures have proved my theory to be untrue.

You can see the extra pounds, he has his shorts covering them about as high up as they are allowed to be.

The waistband goes above his belly button, they are nearly at his chest.

Not the coolest of looks, but that’s not what he is here for.

Daniel Dubois, IBF heavyweight champion, speaking to TNT Sports:

I think it will be a great fight and I am looking forward to challenging the winner, so may the best man win. I want to get my revenge on Usyk but I am rooting for Fury.

Shall we take a trip back in time?

I mean, we don’t have to go back far, only seven months when the sun was shining and summer was on its way.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk both put their undefeated records on the line to see who could become the undisputed king of the heavyweights in Riyadh.

Fury started the fight in command and it looked like he was having the time of his life, so much so that he started showboating.

But soon enough, he would learn why Usyk had never been beaten professionally.

The Ukrainian clocked Fury with a perfect left hand which nearly sent the big guy down to the canvas.

Somehow, the fight was not stopped. To this day I don’t know why.

In the end, it didn’t matter, as Usyk would hand Fury the first loss of his career by split decision to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion in 25 years.

I believe that it’s fair to say, it was one of the most memorable bouts in boxing history.

It was a truly spectacular night, and I’m hoping tonight will be the same.

It’s not too long until we find out.

The teenage sensation rips through Demsey McKean like he is an amateur, dropping him twice before the refer stops the fight with a minute to go in round one.

A simply incredible performance.

There has just been a bust-up between security guards and a fan – just been escorted out of the arena.

It is unclear what it was all over but around three or four security guards ended up dragging him out.

Moses Itauma is in the ring and my word he looks very relaxed, while Demsey McKean doesn’t exactly seem comfortable.

Maybe I am reading too much into it, but that’s just what I think.

Anyway, the first bell has gone and now it’s time to see what Itauma is all about.

Oh boy, I am so excited about this one.

Moses Itauma is the new golden boy of British boxing, everybody is talking about the 19-year-old heavyweight.

He is barely even out of school, but Itauma already has an undefeated record of 10-0-0 in professional boxing.

Do you know how ridiculous that is?

The teenage sensation is now just moments away from the next step in his young career as he faces Australia’s Demsey McKean.

This is by far his hardest test, can he pass it?

My word, Oleksandr Usyk means business.

Just look at the focus in his eyes, he looks like a man who has a point to prove, despite being the bookies’ favourite.

This video has got me excited because it means we are really not far away from seeing him in the ring now.

I can hardly wait, I’m itching for it to get going.

Serhii Bohachuk gets the job done as many expected he would.

In the sixth round, the beating he was putting on Ishmael Davis proved too much for the corner of the Brit as they threw in the towel.

I mean, it’s certainly the right call.

Davis comes out with a lot of credit after taking the fight on such short notice, and he gave it a real crack, but Bohachuk was doing a lot of damage.

Both men come away with credit in the bank.

Tyson Fury’s younger brother has taken to his seat, but he doesn’t exactly look thrilled to be there.

He needs to take a leaf out of Tyson’s book.

I imagine he is very nervous after what happened the last time Tyson faced Oleksandr Usyk.

Still, might as well try and enjoy your night regardless.

We have just caught a glimpse of Tyson Fury before he gets his hands wrapped in the dressing room and it’s fair to say he looks in high spirits.

The mean look on his face has dissipated and the smile is out in full force.

Personally, I think that’s a good sign. You simply can’t keep looking angry, it’s not healthy. Sometimes a smile is all you need.

The question is, will he be smiling after the fight?

I would go right after him because I’d say he’s not as strong as me. And he would realise this and he would move and it would be a situation where I’m cutting off the ring and putting my weight on him, throwing that jab, that left hook, that right hand. I’d be a pugilist specialist in that fight using all my strengths.

Whether it’s my uppercut, whether it’s my jab, whether it’s my hook. And I’ve got to put all those things together. He’s going to see that he had great effect with his uppercut so he’s going to be throwing it a lot more.

I would throw some combinations and end off with the uppercut, because he’s going to throw the left, right then the hook and he’s going to duck under that. Then, the uppercut should be there.

I wonder what these two are talking about…

Television hardman Jason Statham has arrived at the Kingdom Arena ahead of the main event.

He has been pictured talking to Turki Alalshikh, maybe he is asking if he can get a contract himself.

I mean, I’d pay to see him fight. It would be entertaining.

The big fight is getting closer and closer.

Our third bout from the end has just started between Serhii Bohachuk and Ishmael Davis in the light heavyweight division.

Davis came into this one two weeks notice, so it will be interesting to see how he competes with the Ukrainian.

I’m going to dish out a whole lot of pain, I am going to put this f***** in the hurt locker for sure. I have got nothing to say other than there will a lot of hurt and pain. Last time out I laughed and I joked.

Talking has been done. The first fight I joked but this Saturday I’m going to do a whole lot of damage.

Right, we simply have to talk about the infamous face-off from Thursday night.

I was covering the press conference and I have never seen anything like it, I couldn’t believe what I was watching.

The conference has been pretty tame most of the way through, there was not much to write home about.

But then, it was time for Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk to face off.

The two stared into each other’s eyes for 11 and 20 seconds. Yes, you read that right.

Neither fighter wanted to be the one to break the contact. All that male bravado was running through them.

Eventually, about a million people came in to separate them while Fury began lambasting the Ukranian.

It was intense, to say the least.

Paris Fury’s no-contact with her husband Tyson is continuing even on fight day.

I still find it pretty mental that Fury has not spoken to his wide for three months, but if that’s what it takes, then that’s what it takes.

We understand that tonight, Paris entered the Kingdom Arena via the VIP entrance rather than the Freinds and Family entrance.

We are assuming she will not be going into the dressing room, either.

It will be interesting to see how they greet each other at the end of the fight, whatever the result.

Johnny Fisher has somehow found a way to win what was probably the hardest fight of his life.

The Romford Bull wins a split decision over 95-94, 93-96, 95-94 to beat Dave Allen. He stays undefeated.

It must have been the early rounds that swayed the judges because he was certainly on the back foot toward the end.

But still, what a fight! An epic.

Tyson Fury has been playing the hard man role this week, slinging insults toward Oleksandr Usyk all week.

That’s not how Usyk rolls, though, he doesn’t stop top that level.

The heavyweight champ does things his own way and tonight he has turned up with an Eeyore cuddly toy.

If you didn’t know who Usyk was, this phot would not scream ‘Baddest man on the planet’ to you.

I can’t lie, the topic of Tyson Fury’s beard was not on the forefront of my mind coming to fight week.

However, it has been the talk of Riyadh in the last couple of days.

Oleksandr Usyk’s camp was not happy with how bushy Fury’s facial hair was, and my word is it bushy.

There was a belief that it could cushion some of Usyk’s shots…

Well, no matter their concerns, Fury has been allowed to keep the tremendous beard. I mean, it’s really impressive.

I’m lucky to get a few hairs on my cheeks and I’m 24. Jealous in an understatement.

My word, this fight has really changed since our last update.

Johnny Fisher is just about surviving, he is taking shot after shot from Dave Allen, and eventually, he is dropped in the fifth.

Fisher is really showing heart to keep going in this fight now, he keeps getting caught with big shots.

He is one shot away from having his lights turned out.

You’d be forgiven for forgetting this fight is taking place in Saudi Arabia by taking one look at those ringside. Hats, gloves and scarfs are out in full force this evening. It’s freezing!

We saw Mudry at ringside earlier, and he has now been spotted backstage with Usyk as the heavyweight gets ready for tonight’s main event.

Fisher is loading up with everything, and Allen is already having to get through some tough moments.

The body attack is a good one from Fisher, but Allen is holding firm for now.

Fisher targets the body early on, and Allen thinks one has strayed low. He briefly stops but Fisher doesn’t as he lands heavy punches.

We know Allen is durable, but he surely can’t take too many of those kind of shots.

Many see Johnny Fisher and Moses Itauma as two of the brigtests prospects in the heavyweight division.

Can Fisher show his class tonight? We’re just moments away from finding out.

Fury has just arrived for the biggest fight of his life, and he still has his beard!

Another all-British clash is up next as Johnny Fisher and Dave Allen collide.

These two have sparred each other in the past, and it’s a clash between the young talent in Fisher against the experienced Allen.

As suspected, it’s McGregor who is declared the winner, with Lowe left to rue his gumshield problems.

Decent fight that became farcical towards the end.

Lowe has just been deducted two points for his gumshiled consistently coming out.

That has probably cost him the fight. Very bizarre last few rounds as the final bell goes.

Roberto Duran has arrived. Just one great after another in Riyadh tonight.

This is a close fight, and it has just started to become a bit scrappy.

Still some big shots landing, but both men have shown excellent chins so far.

Here comes the main man himself. Will he still be the heavyweight king at the end of the night?

Another British great is in the building, as Amir Khan arrives at the Kingdom Arena.

Both men are continuing to throw heavy shots and they are refusing to take a backwards step.

It’s a close contest as the bell rings for the end of four rounds.

Johnny Fisher is up after this fight, and is going through his warm-up routine in the dressing room.

By the looks of things, he nearly took his promoter Eddie Hearn’s head off a few moments ago!

I said earlier that Isaac Lowe is a good friend of Tyson’s and he also has Tommy Fury supporting him tonight.

Hamzah Sheeraz will get his own shot at world title glory in February.

He is out in Riyadh tonight, and is backing Queensberry stablemate Fury to settle the score with Usyk.

It’s a toe-to-toe battle in the opening round with both Lowe and McGregor landing huge punches.

We could get our first knockout of the night in this one.

That last fight between McGrail and Edwards was an excellent scrap.

And fair play to McGrail, who had to get through more than half the fight with a gruesome cut. That will require a few stitches!

There really has been no messing around tonight. Can’t complain about the pacing of the event so far.

Next up, we have Isaac Lowe vs Lee McGregor. There’s been some bad blood between this pair, and now they get to settle their differences.

Paris was unable to make the first fight as she tragically suffered a miscarriage during fight week.

But she is here tonight to support her husband.

It was very, very close but McGrail has been given the decision with the three judges scoring the fight 96-95, 96-94, 96-94 in his favour.

But Edwards pushed him all the way there.

What an effort from Rhys Edwards as he piles on the pressure in the closing stages.

It will be very interesting to see how the judges have scored this as the final bell rings.

Fury has to be at his very best to get his hand raised tonight, and that means fixing a troubling habit that has emerged.

Edwards took this fight on short notice but is giving as good as he gets in there.

Two rounds to go, and there is not much in this at all.

Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk is at ringside for tonight’s fight just days after it was confirmed he has been suspended from football after failing a drugs test.

We have a Prince in the Kingdom Arena.

That’s right, Prince Naseem Hamed and his son have just showed up to take their seats at ringside.

The make-up of Fury’s corner has been a subject of interest heading into fight week, and we are not expecting his dad John to be in it.

John Fury was in the corner back in May, but has been axed for tonight’s rematch.

Speaking of Itauma, he has just had a quick chat with TNT Sports, and revealed he is planning to have a nap before getting in the ring tonight.

Moses Itauma is still only 19 but has been making rapid progress through the ranks and will face durable Australian Demsey McKean tonight.

Can the Brit show why he is so highly-rated in Riyadh?

Johnny Fisher is a big favourite to win tonight, but Dave Allen has no intention of letting him have things all his own way.

We’ve been working our way through tonight’s undercard at a decent pace.

We are expecting the ringwalks for tonight’s main event to be at around 10pm, meaning the fight should get underway at approximately 10.15pm.

I said it had been an entertaining fight and now we have some drama as McGrail suffers a cut from a clash of heads.

It’s to the side of the right eye but it looks a pretty deep one, and that will need some work in the corner.

Two high-quality operators in there right now, and there’s not an awful lot to separate them.

McGrail probably just edging things, but Edwards is holding his own.

Fury is set for a career high payday tonight, and he tends to love splashing out on watches.

If he wins tonight, will he celebrate with another bit of bling?

Johnny Fisher will be coming up later tonight, and he is keen to put on a show on the biggest stage.

Lennox Lewis was the last undisputed heavyweight champion before Usyk, and he is out in Riyadh for tonight’s showdown.

The Brit has admitted there is very little to split the pair ahead of the rematch we’ve all been waiting for.

It wouldn’t be a big heavyweight night without a bit of late drama.

This time it has come in the shape of who the third and final judge will be, and it was all settled earlier with a coin toss.

We are nearing the end of the second fight already, so we’re moving along nicely.

We are already towards the end of the second fight in Saudi as the undercrd gets going.

Local star Mohammed Alakel got a home victory in the opening bout, and now we have a hevayweight clash between Andrii Novytskyi and Edgar Ramirez.

Well, last night’s weigh-in had some drama as Fury tipped the scales almost 20lbs heavier than he did for the first fight.

But, was that really his weight? Fury was wearing heavy clothing so may have actually been significantly lighter.

Meanwhile, Usyk weighed in just three ounds heavier than the first fight in May.
