Willian is on the verge of completing a surprise return to Fulham on a six-month contract.
The former Brazil international is finalising his move to Craven Cottage, which was first revealed by Mail Sport on Monday night and will sign a deal until the end of the season provided there are no last minute hitches.
The 36-year-old is a free agent after leaving Olympiacos last year so can sign for a new club despite the transfer window now being shut.
Willian has extensive Premier League experience, having spent spells with Chelsea, Arsenal and Fulham.

Willian left Fulham last summer having spent two seasons at Craven Cottage.
But the winger, who was undergoing his medical on Tuesday, is now primed for a return to west London.
